This is me.

When Kasey June starts her new school in New York, she tries her best to fit in and stay quiet which is hard when you're being compared to someone who is better than you. When everything starts to go her way, everything changes, everyone who seemed close to her are not who they seem

2. ~Meet Penny~

I woke up to the sounds of beeping horns. We were so high up and my ears managed to pick up that? I sighed and checked my phone, 8:40 on a Saturday? Ugh. There was no use trying to sleep again. Once I’m awake I can’t sleep again. I swung my legs around my bed and got up on my feet. I made my way into our apartments kitchen in my bear feet, the tiles froze my feet a little but I didn’t care. My mum was using the table. She didn’t notice me come in anyway, she was to busy engrossed in her work occasionally sipping her coffee. I opened the fridge to see if we had any food that I liked. Nothing. I decided to skip breakfast and head into the living room, “Oh hello Kasey,” mum said as she heard me shut the fridge.
“Hey,” I replied emotionless still angry for making me move here.
“I didn’t see much of you yesterday. Why?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” I shrugged my shoulders and walked into the living room. To my disgust my sister was in there, I tried my best to ignore her,
“Hey Kasey,” she said.
“Hi Penny,” I replied sitting at the other end of the room.
“You don’t speak much to me anymore,”
“Oh,” I looked away at the TV which Penny had turned on. I obviously don’t speak to her much anymore, after everything she’s done.
“I give up,” she whispered.
“On what?”
“You know we’re twins,” she said turning to look at me.
“Urgh! You know I hate it when you use that in front of me! At the most, we’re sisters,” I threw my arms down at me side, but she was right, we are twins weather I like it or not. We both have my mothers brown chocolate coloured hair, my fathers blue eyes, our sharp features; the only thing different was our personality. Penny was merry and positive while I was negative and bored. We even had our hair in messy buns, I took mine out so my hair flew around my shoulders, now we looked a little different. I hugged my knees and concentrated on the TV in front of me, blocking out every sound in sight.
