Was it Fate?

All I remember was I was on a plane, I heard One Direction was flying, and then we hit turbulance. Normal, right? Then I heard a big noise and I knew the tail fell off but I couldn't bring myself to look back. We were going to crash. No, we were all going to die. After that everything was a blur. Everything went black. When I woke up I was surrounded by smoke and screaming people. We crashed on an island. No one's here to rescue us. We're lost. Was it fate? Was this supposed to happen? Was I supposed to be stranded on an island with One Direction, my best friend, and a few other girls? Will we ever go home?

1. The Crash

Hayley's POV

I had my earphones in listening to 'Use Somebody' and I started humming along. I had one earbud in and my best friend, Taylor, had the other one. We both nodded our heads in time to the beat, ocassionally flashing a grin to eachother.

"Hayley, do you realize we are on the same plane as One Direction?!?" I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Taylor is like obsessed over One Direction. I could care less for them really. I mean it's not that I didn't like them, I just wasn't all that into their music. Taylor, on the other hand, knows every single detail of their lives! She tries to convince me that I'll like them but truthfully, I'm not in boy bands. The can go suck-

"Hayley! What's happening?!? Why is the plane shaking like this?! Are we going to die!?!?!" Wow, you can tell she's never been on a plane.

"It's just the turbulance Taylor." I chuckled slightly at the fact that she was hyperventilating.

"Could everyone please fasten your seatbelts. The pilot has lit the sign." The lady on the speaker said. This is normal right? We put our seatbelts on and then all of a sudden there's a big rip-noise. Oh crap! It sounded like the tail of the plane had just ripped off! I can't bring myself to look back. Taylor flew forward and hit her head. Oh my god! She's unconcious! Now I started to panic. The air masks just released from the safety box over head of us. I put one on myself and put one on Taylor. The plane began to shake and rattled and as we plumetted down, everything went black.

My eyes flutter open, processing my surroundings and what just happened. Ok, there is smoke everywhere. People are running around screaming. The plane crashed. I look over to see Taylor slowly waking up.

"What happened?" She said slowly. "Where are we?" She sat up and looked around. I stood up and walked towards the first person I saw but I tripped over something. Is that- OH MY GOD! I just freaking tripped over a dead body. I felt myself scream at the top of my lungs. Taylor shoots up and runs to me, making a small squeak when she sees the body. "We're dead, we're dead, we're dead!" she kept repeating. I tried calming her down but she was in tears. I stayed strong for her. If I cried I knew she would brake.

"Taylor listen to me, we will get home. I know we will. I need you to stay put while I find our stuff and find someone else, please don't move!" I got up and walked over to a tall blonde girl. I tapped her shoulder and she turned around. Her blue eyes were bloodshot from crying and her cheeks were stained from tears. "Sorry, do you know what happened?" She sniffled and got ready to talk.

"The- the plane c-crashed. I can't find anyone else. N-No signal for my phone." She was balling now. I pulled her into a hug.

"We'll get through this. Who were you traveling with?" I asked, pulling away from her hug. "M-My friend, she-she's gone." She points down to another dead body. I felt my heart drop. What if that was Taylor? What if we died?

"What's your name?" I asked the blonde girl whose crying slowed a little.

"Ivy." She said, trying to pull herself together.

"Well Ivy, my name is Hayley. That, over there, is Taylor" I point to Taylor who is still shaking from fear. "Go sit down with Taylor while I find out if anyone else is... alive" I dreaded said that, but she did as she was told. I walked further down the beach. The plane was there, in pieces. The engine was still running and next thing I knew a man was running towards me but got sucked in and there was an explosion. I dropped down to avoid getting burnt or anything. This is bad. This is really bad. I walk around the smoke and see two more girls. They were hugging eachother, crying. I run up to them and get their attention. I explained what was going on and told them my name.

"I'm Felicia, and she's Melissa." The one with dark brown hair and pink streaks said. I forced a smile and told the girls to go sit with Taylor and Ivy. They did as I said and I walked around a little more. I can't find anyone else. Is it just us five girls? Wait- I see four boys huddled over something. I rush over to see what's going on. They're surrounding a gorgeous boy with brown hair that flows perfectly to the side. He's unconcious, but not dead. The boys have teary eyes. They look so familiar but I can't ask them right now. "I can help, just give me space." As I said that they nodded and stepped back. I kneeled over the boy and put my ear to his chest. I heard the soft beats of his pure heart. I lift my head and move his hair out of his face. I lay my hand his cheek and look back at the boys. "He'll be okay." I decided "We need to get him away from the smoke." The boys nod silently and pick him up and proceed to carry him to the other side of the beach. It's calm over here. No smoke, no bodies, no debris. Just sand and the sound of the waves washing up on the shore. "Lay him down right here." I instruct. They do as I say and lay him down. I can tell they're terrified. Everyone is. That's why I have to stay strong. Someone needs to. I tell the boys to look for a bottle of water for when he wakes up. I stay with him just in case he wakes. I told the boy with curly hair to find four girls and bring them over to me. We might be here a while. I start a fire, so rescuers see the smoke and know where we are. I made the fire about 10 feet from the boy. It's kind of cold out here and it's getting dark but I'm not sure what time it is. The curly haired boy comes back with the girls and they huddle around the fire. The other three boys come back with 6 bottles of water each. That's 18 for now. It'll have to do for tonight. They all surroud the fire and I make a tent out of supplies I found. I made three tents. One for the boys, one for the girls, and one for supplies. I don't know how long we'll be here but I know we need to be prepared. I told everyone that someone should be here in a few days although I'm not sure, they think I'm like a leader. That I know what I'm doing, even though I'm just winging it. I need to give them hope. Oh god, how did I get in this situation?
