2. Chapter One

Chapter One

Yup you guessed it. I'm in the middle of the most boring class in the history of the world. That's right. Math. I don't hate math, it's just that the class is really boring. Nothing good ever happens in here. All we do is sit and read about letters mixed into a math problem that's for numbers. Seriously who mixes the alphabet with the number line? It's down right stupid.

Yet here I am listening to Mrs.Jameinson talk about triangles. I learned about the god damn triangle in kindergarden for crying out loud! Why do I have to learn about it AGAIN!? I'd be surprised if I don't fall asleep in class. I did once and let me tell you, it wasn't a good thing either. The teacher let the students draw on me with sharpies. It took a month to get it all off.

"Ms.Waterdale! Report to the main office for not paying attention!" the old teacher screeched at me.

"Well that's good considering I ALREADY know how many sides are on a triangle Mrs.Jameinson."

I huffed and walked out with my book bag while Mrs.Jameinson yelled at me. I really couldn't care less about her. I already know when she's going to die. She's going to die soon and it's not pretty. It haunts me everyday to know how she'll leave this world. And there is nothing I can do about this death.

I'm walking down the halls looking at all of the posters students made about prom. Some of them are nice and others are just plain old 'eww' but I shouldn't complain because I suck at drawing. So I'll let my fellow peers do all of the posters.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I said frantically.

I just walked right into someone with really nice abbs. I looked up to see who I walked into, and saw the Jacob Reeds. We locked eyed contact while I scrambled to my feet.

" sorry for running into you. It was a mistake. I didn't do it just to feel you really toned abbs. I'm not saying I don't like them but...You know what I mean. Sorry." I squeaked with wide eyes.

I saw his lips twitch into a smile but he tried to hide it.

"The question is why aren't you in class?" By now he had an eyebrow raised.

" I wasn't paying attention so I was sent to the office."

With that I ran away from him. Don't look at me like that! I just didn't want to embarrass myself anymore. I ran all the way to the office. I threw the door open and ran inside.

"Go right in the principal is waiting for you."

I nodded my head and walked into the office. I sat in the chair. I'm small compared to this big buff guy in a suit. He's way taller than me. At least 6'5 at the most. I'm only 5'3. So you can tell I'm freakishly scared of him.

"Mrs.Waterdale I hear you weren't paying attention in class."

"That's only because I already learned about the triangle!" I protested.

"Anyway I am giving you after school detention. Now off you go."

I stomped out of the office and back to class.
