Angels From Opposite Planets

Angel is just a normal fourteen year old girl...Well, almost normal. She must fight certain things including her past to recover her identity and her safety. If not, well, you don't want to know. This is a story of adventure, a little romance, and a lot of fun.

4. A Questionable Mistake

I looked around and didn't recognize where I was. Definantely not at home. A little bit of fear rushed through me and made me shiver. I hate it when that happens. I looked down at my necklace and noticed it was flashing red. That wasn't a good sign. I had a useless necklace (Basically for looks, now!) an empty bottle of potion, a bag, and a little bit of fear. Exactly what I needed, huh?
I picked my bag up off the floor and searched through it. There were: 2 flashlights, my phone, a set of head phones, and a shiny think I got when I got the bag. I never looked at it. I picked it up and examined it. It was just an old rock. This wasn't about to help me in any way except bribery. I throw it back down in the bag and hear a little 'clank'.
I empty the bag and see a little box shaped in a heart. I open it and a note falls out.

"Dear Angel,
We always wanted to
Give you something to
Remind you that we love
You so much. We hope that
When you look at this you
Will think of us."
Mom and Daddy

A little tear streamed down my cheek and I wiped it. I put my head on the floor and fell asleep. I had been so tired and depressed that it made me crash. I woke up to the sun shining through the windows. It was bright, thank goodness. I hoped it was a good sign. I could see where I was now. It looked like an old museum for old artifacts and stuff. I looked around to see if anyone was there. I turn the corner and observe a person unlocking the door. I run the other way and hide behind a big statue of cannon.
"Miss Masyn, I'd be happy to sell this ol' place to 'yal as soon as possible!" A quite chubby southern(I assume) man said. He looked quite kind, but I wouldn't take any chances.
"Well, Mr. Wright. It isn't that it isn't a nice place, but I'm just not interested at the moment!" Said a thin, northern (I assume) young woman.
"Now, I'm sure we can settle this over a nice ol' glass of sweet tea!"
"No, thank you, Mr. Wright. Not today, at least." She looked around and then noticed me. I looked straight into her eyes. They looked so warm.
"Alright, then!" Mr. Wright began to walk out the door.
"Actually, I will take some sweet tea. It is quite a nice museum and all." She said, walking towards me.
"Aright! I will get the sweet tea!" He walked away humming.
Miss Masyn walked towards me quite quickly and looked around the statue. Her red hair went on her face and she brushed it out of the way. She had fare skin, green eyes, and dark red hair. She was quite pretty.
"Hello, dear." She looked at me and smiled.
"Hello, ma'am." I said back.
"I am Alexis Masyn. And you are?" She extended her arm.
"Angel. Just Angel." I shook her hand.
"Well, what are you doing here?" She reached out and tucked my blonde hair behind my ear.
"I kind of appeared here, ma'am."
"Appeared, huh? Are you sure you aren't a thief?"
"Oh! Yes, ma'am! I am not a thief! Never, never, never!" My eyes got big.
"It's alright, Angel. Don't lie."
"I'm not lieing, Miss Alexis Masyn."
"Just call me Alexis."
"Alright, Alexis. I am NOT a thief."
"You just 'appeared' here?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Well then let's just dissapear, shall we?"
"Sounds good." I smiled at her.
We quietly left the museum before Mr. Wright got back with the sweet tea.
"So, where are we headed?" Alexis said to me.
I looked at her and smiled.
