I Know You're There: Abducted Angels

*Sequel to I Know You're There, read that first*. Reuben and Tori have ran away. They've got a place to stay, and their fake ID's are working. The only thing is, Tori's 'abduction' story is currently the biggest segment of the news. Yep, Reuben is the World's most wanted. Nobody knows it's Reuben, though. Not only are the police after them, but there's a sick band of people, who want Angels. Not for good reasons, some for dissection, some for information. They're both after Reuben. But of course, there's more problems then that. Ex's, (new) family and money. But they're together, and that's all that matters... right?

14. 'You lying little Demon!'

I accidentally let myself gasp, but no one noticed. If Damien woke up, and came downstairs, God knows what they'd do to him. The men we're massive, rippling muscles, threatening tattoos, and too many piercings. Reuben was tiny, compared to them, and  he looked so weak.

"They're not here, you lying little Demon!" one man hissed.

"Good," Reuben snapped back.

"You better tell us where they are," the other man says, his voice so threateningly deep.

"As if," Reuben laughed, and my heart melted.

I tried to hide myself better, but it didn't go to well. I made a slight rustling noise when I moved a coat, luckily they didn't notice. Were they deaf? First I gasp, then that, and they don't here me? Something's up...

"I said, tell us where they are," the same man said.

He punched Reuben right in the gut, and he doubled over, one hundred per cent winded. Loudly, I whimpered, and the mens' eyes fell on me. My breath quickened, and my eyes became wide. Honestly, I was petrified. Slowly, one stepped forwards, reaching one arm out, directed at me. Carefully, he moved the coat to the side, and smirked evilly.

"I guess we found her," he laughed, and Reuben just stood there, in shock.

"Where's the other boy?" the other man said, pushing Reuben behind him.

"I-I don't know who you're talking about," I gulped, as he yanked me forwards, tying my hands behind my back.

"Yeah, of course you don't," the one bonding my wrists, said.

A few things ran through my mind. Don't give in, call for Damien, or tell them? Call for Damien. No, scream for him. That'll get his attention.

"Damien! Help!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

The men growl, and throw me in a room, which ended up being the lounge. Reuben followed, and the door was slammed shut, wedged closed. Angrily, I glared at Reuben, who returned it with a sad look.

"I'm sorry, I really am," he said, sitting next to me, on the carpet.

"Leave me alone," I snapped, shuffling away from him.

"Tori, I-"

"Shut up!" I yelled.

Awkwardly, he moved away, and hung his head, staring at the floor. I did the same, worrying about Damien. Two versus one was never going to end well, especially with two men the size of world class wrestlers. Damien was strong, plus he was an Angel, but... really?

"Please listen," Reuben said, leaning his back against mine.

Sighing, I leant against his too, meaning for him to spill. After a few moments of silence, he crosses his legs, and stretches his arms out. At first, I was confused, but then I caught on to what he was doing. His ice cold hands found mine, and he picked at the bonds. I had a terrifying suspition that his hands were cold from being a Demon. Eventually, he got them untied, and the rope fell to the floor.

Turning around, I untied his, and stood up.

"What's the plan?" I asked, avoiding his frighteningly dark eyes.

"Run. I'll help Damien," silently, he yanked the door open, and gestured for me to bolt.

"What, no!? I'm not leaving both of you!" I shout-whispered.

"Shut up, stop being stubborn, and go!" he literally shoved me out of the front door, and I heard Damien yell something.

"Reuben!" I sqeaked, as he start closing the door in my face.

"Yes, Tori?" he said with mock interest.

Awkwardly, I just stood there, trying to come up with something to say. What was there to say? Hey, you're a Demon, but I'm still madly, crazy, truly in love with you! Sighing, he stepped out of the doorframe, and crashed his lips against mine. Immediately, I kissed him back, but pulled back. Without thinking, I slapped him. There was a bright red hand mark on hs cheek, and I blushed.

"I love you, too," he said, and stepped back in the house, and closed the door.
