28. No-where

Charli's POV

"Liam, I am so sick of you being so jealous all of the time! Were you there for me after 'the Harry incident?' were you by my side, all through the time when I was outcast? Did you yell at Harry when I stood up for Sam after Harry took his phone? Did you risk your popularity, on your first day of school? No, you didn't. You sat back and Laughed as Harry tormented him, all because you thought it would make you look bigger." Tears were flowing down my cheeks. This was the sixth argument in the last week. Liam was telling me to let Sam go. But I wouldn't.

"GET OUT!" I yelled at him, pointing towards the door. "It's.. it's over." I whispered the last bit, but he heard. At first he looked as if he was going to cry, but then he snapped.

"Fine, I will. Just don't expect me to come around here anymore! I'm trying to save your reputation Charli! If you can't see that then you need to wake up to yourself. Sam is going to ruin you!" He shouted, And with that he stormed out of the house. I followed him, and threw the locket he had given me at a date at him.

Liam's POV

We're done. I can't take it anymore. I can see she was being there for her friend, but how else am I supposed to act when she is constantly bringing him over her house. Why can't things be normal for once. I walked down the road, paparazzi were everywhere. I held the locket in my hand. I looked inside it. A picture of us; me holding her and she was laughing. It was the other photo that angered me. It was a picture of her and Sam, pulling faces in a school corridor. Tears welled up in my eyes. He had made his way into her heart. I dialled a number on my phone.

"Hey Liam, how's Charli going?" Lachlan answered.

"Found a boy, hung out with the boy, became best friends with the boy, I got jealous and it's over." I replied, the tears coming thick and fast.

"Really? Shit. Did she 'save' him too?" He asked

"What do you mean?" I replied, thinking about the first day I saw her with him. He had a bruise on his face from something.

"Well, most of Charli's friends she 'saved'. Basically she helped all of us when we were in a tough spot. We all owe her something, but she doesn't want anything in return. She even put herself in danger once to help somebody.. even when they were abusing her. She stayed with him because she could still see the boy she loved. She ended up in hospital in the end." He explained to me, and I gasped. I ran back to her apartment, and knocked on the door.

"Bye Lachlan gotta go, talk to ya again soon." I said as Charli opened the door.

"I'm so sorry Charli, please forgive me, I didn't understand... I know why you want to stay by him, I'm so sorry." I apolgized. "I would do anything to get you back Charli, just please?"

"In." she said with a smile, she had forgiven me. "I'm sorry Liam, I should have understood. You're getting agitated because Sam likes me, and you like me too, so.. I want you to sort this out now."

Sam's POV

I bristled as Liam walked in. Charli walked into the kitchen, I heard her and Chelsea talking in the kitchen. Amazingly, the other people in our little "Group" had stuck up for me. All the time everyone else asked me if were-wolves and zombies were real too, it was so stupid!

"Ok, who starts?" I asked.

"You." Liam said almost straight away.

"Ok, umm... I know that you really like Charli, and that you're trying to protect her, but please stop trying to convince her to stay away from me because you would hurt more than one person if you did. Also, can you please stop snogging her after You've pulled her away from my hugs? Because that's as close as I'll ever get to her, and it really hurts my feelings when you pull her away just to 'claim' her." I finished speaking, and waited for Liam's reply.

"Well, I don't try to hurt you, but I wasn't allowed to re-inforce the fact that she was going out with me? That's Over doing it." He hissed at me. I winced.

"You know something Liam? You're a jerk. You could have some consideration for others you know." I picked myself up off of the couch. "Charli! I'm gonna leave!" I yelled, and walked out the door. Leaving Liam and Charli alone in the lounge-room, staring at the door.
