Ever heard Slenderman the myth about a man without a face? he's real, and he's also no man. Liobean and her companion Rosie set out to solve the mystery after a surprise letter from Charles. This is a short story.


7. The End, Or Is It?

Liobean woke up and found a team of astonished forensics attempting to stuff her body into a body-bag. She got up and wiped herself down, then Cried out “Rosie!”
A little black dog bounded towards her, and as she knelt down, licked her face. She gave a little cry of happiness, and when she had recovered, when to see the man who had set her upon the little trip to the woods, Charles, but instead found the butler addressing her
“Sorry you can’t see Charles at the minute, He’s dead.” The Butler Spoke miserably
“What?!? How?” Liobean exclaimed
“He was murdered last night, but he left a will to you, he said you own the house and look after his little daughter, Guard her with your life. That was his final request.”
“I will look after his daughter and take upon the role of Lady Liobean.” Liobean replied.
Liobean and Rosie where sad and overjoyed. Charles was a kind soul, and she would hold a memorial service for him, and he would look after his little daughter, Holly.
The next day, Charles was buried then to his wife, Lady Katharine, and the 6 daughters. As they couldn’t find the body’s of the daughters, they used old photos and teddies. When Charles burned ashes where placed in the small simple box, Lady Liobean remembered this day forever, But Rosie seemed anxious. “What’s the matter Rosie?” Liobean softly spoke to Rosie. Rosie was crying, but not because of the funeral, but the loud static sound, and the forgotten face behind the tree. . .
