The Neighbour

Sophie is just a normal girl. She's from Holland but she wants to study in London.
When she finally finishes high school she moves to London.
Little does she know who her neighbour happens to be...

6. Twitter

I was still sitting on my couch, competely stunned. I didn't really have anything to do so I grabbed my phone and checked my twitter timeline and then the trending topics, when I saw it. We were all over twitter! "Harry and unknown girl" was trending topic and when I clicked on it I saw loads of photos of Harry and I earlier that day during our date. And most people weren't exactly nice. I knew I shouldn't but I just kept on reading. Some things people said about me truly made me sad. I called Harry.

"Hey Sophie what's up?" Harry said. "Hey Harry... Well check twitter. We're all over it!" I said, and Harry was silent for a little while, probably checking his twitter. "Sophie, don't listen to any of it. I'm coming over to you now", he said and he hung up. A couple of seconds later I heard him knock on my door.

I opened it for him and when he saw my sad face he pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but to start crying. I hated crying, but like I said I couldn't handle emotional situations, I always ended up crying. Harry soothed me, stroking my hair, saying I shouldn't listen to any of it and that I was beautiful and they were just jelaous. He was just so sweet. After a while I stopped crying, but I just kept him close to me. I couldn't help it, I just loved the feeling of his warm body against mine. I wish I could just stay like this for the rest of my life, safe in his warm, firm embrace.

We finally pulled back and he looked me in the eyes, asking if I would like to go clubbing tonight with him and his bandmates to have some fun. That actually sounded really appealing. "But don't you just want to hang out with your friends? Just guys?" I asked him. "It's more fun where there is a nice girl around, and besides Louis' girlfreind Eleanor is coming too", he said with that sexy smirk on his face again. I couldn't say no, he was just irresistible and he knew it. It was annoying me. But I really liked the idea of going out and have some fun and meeting his friends.

"Okay, sounds fun!" I said, with a genuine smile on my face. "Thank you for making me feel better Harry, I owe you again". "Don't worry about it, it's my fault you got all that hate, they're my fans..." he said but I stopped him. "Harry stop apologising for other people. You don't control them, so it's not your fault." I said, with a frown. He gave me a reassuring smile. "Okay I'll pick you up on 9! Don't fall asleep this time", he said grinning. I grinned back at him. "It won't happen again, I promise!" I said and he went to his own flat again blowing me a kiss, smiling his cheeky smile. I loved that smile.

I sighed. I shouldn't like him this much, but I obviously did.

It was already 6:30 pm so I decided to go out to grab dinner before Harry would pick me up. I went to a nearby restaurant, it was really nice and not too expensive. I reminded myself to remember this place so I could come here more often. I finished my dinner and walked outside, but when I walked out of the door I stopped and my mouth felt open. There were photographers and girls outside the restaurant, waiting for me. They started to run towards me and asking questions. "Are you and Harry dating?" one of them asked. "No! Please leave me alone", I shouted back. I did my best not to cry and stepped into the first cab I could find. I put down the urge to call Harry, knowing that I shouldn't bother him with this, I already did earlier.

I was relieved when the cab finally reached my building and I was safe. But I had to hurry up now, it was already 8:30 and I had to get ready!
