My Other Life

“Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.”

This might sound weird, but I am different. Not just different... abnormal, special, powerful.

As long as you don't tell anyone, I will tell you everything. You will know every detail of my pathetic life. I may have an unique ability, but I still have problems all normal teenagers have and also some extra-special problems I haven't told anyone. Yet.

For one, I am really popular, but I am not happy. All my friends are just my friends so that they can piggy back off my popularity. I have no one I can talk to.

My dad died from a drug overdose, and my mom has a new boyfriend every five minutes. Most of the time she has more than one at once. I have dozens of half-sisters and half-brothers, but most of them live with their dads and not my mom. I have an older sister, but no one talks about her, ever.

I'm in all co-taught classes and the classes I chose to take were art and theater arts. I wanted to take chorus, but not enough people signed up. I'm in eighth grade, and all my teachers hate me because I never turn in my work and on the rare occasion when I do turn in work, I just write random crap that sounds good. The only good thing about school is that I get to see my "friends".

I am Kristie, and I can go into other dimensions, Now.
