The Lying Game

I'm Olivia. I lived with my mom and stepdad, but my mother is hardly ever home. Without my mom knowing, my stepdad, Andy, would hit me, kick me, and slap me if I didn't do things right. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran away to my best friends house. And that best friend was Louis Tomlinson. I'm very embarrassed about what had happened, and it upsets me to talk about. But it's hard going back to normal after what happened. When I finally land on my feet in London, I follow Louis and live his life with him. I become very close friends with the rest of the lads. Maybe a little too close. But I don't want to tell them my story. How many secrets can I keep from everyone? I guess I'll just have to play The Lying Game.

3. McDonald's

We sing our hearts out awfully and jam out to every song that came on the radio. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and pull it out. Louis turns down the volume and looks at my phone. "Who's that from?" He ask. "Ugh Andy." I say while unlocking my phone. "What does that jerk want now?" He says. I read the text out load. "It says 'you needed to move out anyway'." I say rolling my eyes. "Wow. Just wow." Louis said. "Yeah I know...." I say. We finally pull into the McDonald's and he finds a place to park. "It's pretty crowded here for it to be 8:30." I say looking out the window. "Yeah it is." Louis says while turning off the car. I'm about to open the door when Louis lays a hand on my shoulder. "Ok. So I know your not used to this, but the people in here are probably gonna have cameras in our faces and stuff. And just remember that if they say anything rude to you, just ignore it. They don't know you." He says. I smile. "Don't worry, I think they know me from the other times I went out in public with you. Lets walk in like normal people." I say laughing. He nods and we get out. People are already starting to stare. "Just ignore it." Louis says. I nod. "Ok." I say and we walk in. The whole restaurant goes completely quiet. I give Louis a look and he just shakes his head. "Hey!" He says and I wave. All the girls are whispering to there friends and looking at us. But mostly me. Louis motions me to the counter. The cashier freezes. "Hey love! Can I get a quarter pounder with cheese and a Bigmac and also two drinks." He says. He knows me so well. "Oh and make the quarter pounder with no onions, please." He adds. He looks at me and I nod. "Perfect." I say. He smiles. "Um...o-ok your total is 12.50." The girls says very shaky. We walk over to a table and sit to wait for our food. "Can we just take it home? It's really awkward here." I say. Louis laughs "Sure, Liv." He says. A girl walks over to us with a napkin and a pin. "Hey Louis!" She squeals. "Hey, love. What's you name?" He says. "Madison!" She says. Louis takes the napkin and pin out of her hand and signs it then gives it back to her. "I love your accent! Where are you from?" I ask her. Her eyes light up and she says, "Oh! You're Olivia! Oh and I'm from Africa. I just moved here." She says. Me and Louis giggle a little. "So, if your from Africa. Why are you white?" Louis says laughing. I bust out laughing. "Oh my god Lou! You can't just ask people why they're white!" I say. We both laugh. The girl standing there had a offended and confused look on her face. Then me and Lou realize that she wouldn't get that joke. We give each other a quick 'what do we do' look. "Oh. No no sweetie! It was a joke! We didn't mean it literally!" I say. She walks off saying cuss words under her breath. "Well then." Louis says. "She doesn't even go here!" I say. He laughs. We here that our order is ready and I walk up to get it. "Thanks, love." I say to the person. She smiles and I met Louis at the door. As we where walking out the door, someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn around to find a girl about my age. "So...are you two like.. Dating now?" She said rudely. "Oh, no. We're just really good friends!" I say back. She rolls her eyes and looks at Louis. "Yep that right. I've known her since 1st grade. We where on the same football team." He says while putting his arm around my shoulder and rubbing it. I smile at the girl and Louis lets go. She rolls her eyes and walks away. I shrug and we walk out.
