10. Why mum, why?

Mimi's POV.

I walked down, nervously, to talk to my mum. I don't know if I can still trust her or like if I need something else to know about. I saw my mum crying on the couch while my friend, Mica, tries to comfort her. I looked around and saw my other friends talking to the boys. I looked at Zayn and he nodded. I sigh and walked towards my mum and Mica.

"Why mum? Why did you have to lie to me about all this?" I asked, softly.

"Because I don't want to lose you. If you figured it out then I was sure that you would leave me for them. You were the only one who reminded me of Zayn and Yesar." My mum answered still crying.

"Then why did you leave me and dad?" Zayn asked.

"Because I thought that our life won't work so I decide to move to USA so I could forget about the bad memories." She answered.

"Which is?" I asked. This is something I needed to know.

"My ex-husband, not your father, was freed from jail and was back for me." She answered, "I'm so sorry, Mimi. I know I shouldn't have lied to you. Is there a chance you could forgive me?

"I don't mum. I mean you've hurt me so much. What about I take some few time to think about it and when I can trust you again then I could forgive you?" I said.

"Anything!" Mum said. Me and my mum hugged. I felt so good that I finally know the truth.

"YAY!!!!!!! GROUP HUG!!!!!!!!!!!" Mica yelled and all the people there joined in. I laughed. I finally found the people who will truly love me!
