Fragile *Complete*

When Alex set out to find her long lost brother, she never guessed he'd be famous. But can she get him to remember her, that tiny blank in his childhood memory? Or will his life prove too much of a distraction?

Louis's POV

I'd had a great time seeing my parents again, and they didn't argue much. They seemed a little off though, like they wanted to tell me something, but couldn't. Oh well, they'd tell me when the time was right. I was just finishing clearing up after dinner when the boys walked through the door. Hmm, that was odd, they were dead silent. I walked into the living room just as Liam placed an unconscious Alex on the couch.

"What happened," I asked calmly, trying not to overreact. Maybe she was asleep...

"We don't know," Niall responded. "We left the restaurant and she hadn't eaten anything, we really did try to get her to eat Mate, and she got separated from us by the fans. I guess she went back inside because Harry went in and saw her, so he took her out and she didn't look good, and she passed out in the car."

"Alright, well, should we wait to see how she is when she wakes up?" The boys all nodded in agreement, and sat on the couch around her.

Alex's POV

I woke up slowly. I was so hungry, and the room was spinning. I felt like I was going to be sick. I opened my eyes and looked around. It was dark and I couldn't really make out my surroundings, but luckily there was a lamp on. I looked closer and saw that all five boys were laying on the couch and on the floor, asleep. Hmm... I looked at my iPhone; it was 3 A.M. What had happened? I remember the fans, waiting in the restaurant, and getting into the limo, but everything past that was a blank. Was this how Louis felt about the brief part of his childhood I was a part of?

I stood up, but I guess I stood up a little too quickly, because the room started to spin and I fell back down, waking Louis and Liam up in the process, the two boys on either side of me.

"Are you all right," Louis whispered, concern lacing his voice. I could tell he was dead tired.

"Yeah, I just stood up too fast I guess... Ohhhh... I don't feel good," I quietly groaned.

"I'll be right back," said Liam, getting up. After a few minutes, he returned with a water-bottle, an empty bowl, and a sandwich.

"Thanks," I mumbled, taking the plate with the sandwich from him as he set the bowl and the water on the floor by my feet. "Well I'm not going to eat if you stare at me," I said, starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Sorry," they quickly said. I took a bite, it was so good, and I hadn't eaten in three days.

The boys turned back to face me. "So, how was your date with the boys," Louis asked me.

"It was great! I wish you could've come," I whispered back. I looked at the other three boys, still asleep.

"I wish I could've come too. My parents were being quite awkward," he said with a frown.

"How so," I inquired. Had they told him?

"I don't know, I just felt like there was something bothering them; like there was something they weren't telling me." So they hadn't told him. Good. I finished my sandwich and took small sips of water. I was starting to feel a bit better, but not much.

"Oh my gosh! What am I doing," I yelled in a whisper. The pair just looked at me confused. "I'm going to get you guys sick," I said standing up. Bad idea. I fell back down to the couch.

"It's alright. We don't go on tour for another month. If you are sick and you pass it on to one of us, we'll get over it before we leave," Louis reassured me.

"All right," I sighed, laying back down. I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

"Alex, Alex, wake up." Someone was shaking my shoulder and telling me to do something I REALLY didn't want to do.

"You were crying. Were you having a nightmare?" Louis was kneeling my my face, looking wide awake.

"I'm fine, I was just dreaming about my brother. I miss him is all," I told him.

"Hm, weird. I just had a dream about my sister."

"You have a sister," I said shocked, but still hopeful.

"I, I think so..."
