At One With The Supernatural

Grace Winchester has never really had a stable place to stay. Always moving around, always on the run. Why? Her family were hunters. They didn't hunt deer or geese like normal people. Her family has always hunted demons, vampires, ghosts. Things of the Supernatural. Grace must help her brothers fight the monsters.

2. What We're Up Against

"So where are we heading?" I asked Sam, looking into the backseat as Dean drove.

"Jasonville, Missouri." He said.

"And what's the background?" I questioned.

"Isn't this usually my job?" Dean asked.

"Just keep driving. I'll handle it." I told him, waving him off with my hand. He shook his head, muttering to himself something about bossy little teenagers and their snappy comments.

"And who does that remind you of?" Sam laughed, looking because Dean and I, "She's a mini you, Dean, you know that."

"I'm not sure if I should take that as an insult or a compliment." I grinned at Dean for a moment who was trying to hide a smile, but his hands gripped the wheel tighter. I laughed softly.

"You know I'm only kidding, Deanie." I grinned. He hated the nickname with a fiery passion.

"Call me Deanie one more time and I'm kicking your ass to the back and Sammy gets his way." Dean said, glaring at me for a moment before turning his head back to the road. I laughed for a moment before sitting back and looking at Sam again.

"What's the background?" I repeated.

"It looks like people are making deals. A ton of chain reactions. It's like a drug dealer is circling around the town, except with lives and other things that these demons promise that usually tend to go bad after an amount of time. It looks like the first thing gone wrong happened within about a month." He said.

"What was the consequence?" I asked him.

"You know, this is getting really twenty-one questions." He said. I raised my eyebrow at him, basically saying just answer the question.

"Alright, alright. What else? Death. That's what it usually is. Something along those lines." He said, leaning back in the seat, putting his arm across the back.

"Shocker." I said, looking around at the almost bare scenery, "This place looks really boring." I added.

"Of course. That's where we're usually sent." Dean said. I looked at him.

"That might be a sign." I said. He raised an eyebrow.

"For?" He questioned, looking over at me for a moment.

"That you're a very boring person and the demons are just proving it." I chuckled.

"Watch yourself, smalls. I will throw you out of this car." He said.

"Careful. Wouldn't wanna hurt your precious Impala." I smirked, sitting back.
"You know, I'm getting real tired of your sass, Gracie." He told me. I laughed.

"Good. That means I'm doing my job right." I winked, sitting back in the car as we drove past the Jasonville town sign.
