The Memior of Lynn: Junior Year

Lynn is almost done with high school. She just has to make it though the next two years and then she is off to travel the world and explore the wonderful world of college and life outside of Virginia. She thought she had it easy but she must have been horribly wrong because now nothing is going the way that she planned. He mothers cancer returned just when they both thought all of that was out of their lives forever.

Then she meets Adam Wilson. He is nice, listens to her, and is an awesome friend. But then things get more serious and she doesn’t know how to deal with it all.

This is a typical story about a teenage girl finding herself in a confusing place, something that everyone can relate too. I am positive that you all will love it!

The television is on. I can clearly see that it is, with all the flashing shapes and colors and random flashes of light that hit my eyes, almost blinding me pretty much. At first I am confused as to where I am but then I notice that I am in my living room. How did I get here? I don’t know. The room makes me feel sad. I don’t know if it is the dark, glooming grey that makes the room look like it is dying, or maybe it is how everything seems to be just a bit too blurry. I stare at the fabric of the love seat I am laying down on to test my eyesight, only to confirm that everything is, in fact, blurry.

Something isn’t right here, I say to myself in my head.

I go to stand up, swinging my legs around so they hang down the side and I am sitting upright, but when I do everything feels so much heavier and I almost fall over. It isn’t the weight really, but more the feelings that seem to overwhelm my mind that makes my body heavy in such a way, and I don’t really have a way to explain it.

The doorbell rings suddenly. I jump, then walk slowly to the door.

Who is that?

I open the door and the sight that I find in front of me is a bit surprising so I just stand there and my mouth gapes open just a bit in the way that makes me look very surprised and probably like a big idiot.

“Adam? What are you doing here?”

“I had to tell you something. I don’t know. I don’t know why I am here.” He says with his eye contact locked not to my eyes but to the floor instead. I guess he is nervous. I mean, I would be nervous too if I did what he is doing right now.

I am at loss for words at the moment so I just stand there and stare at him.

“Yes you do Adam. Just say what you have to say.” He looks up at my comment. I lean up against the door frame of the open door way and I cross my arms over my chest and I just look at him in a way that edges him on, wanting him to just say what he has to say.

Our lips meet as he thrusts it body quickly towards mine and pushes me into the house. This kiss was a bit different than our first one. I could feel the warmth and wetness of his tongue slide itself across my lips, covering every inch of them with his saliva. I pull away, a bit confused.

               “Wait.”

“What?” He seems a bit upset I stopped him. I feel as if the room is over one hundred degrees and I take off the jacket that I seem to be wearing, a simple, dark red, and V-neck tee shirt underneath.

               “You have a girlfriend.”

               “Yeah, so?”

“Well, go make out with your so called girlfriend if you want to be with her. Why are you here?

               “Who cares?”

“Well, I would say that I care.” He doesn’t say anything after that, and if he did, I don’t recall any of the words. He rushes up to me and kisses me some more as he did before, this time pushing me into the arm of the couch and the licking of his tongue along my lips getting faster. I part my lips just a bit and he pushes his tongue into my mouth, hard and fast, exploring the new space I have given him, and I kiss back, my eyes closed and my body enjoying the sensations shooting through every part of me at the moment.

I pull away once again, but don’t really say much because Adam doesn’t let me get far. He locks his hands to my sides and sits me up on top of the arm of the chair I am leaning against and starting moving his kisses slowly down my body. I feel his teeth playfully bite at my neck and his tongue licks my neck as well.

“My brother is home. We shouldn’t.” Adam’s smile made me forget all I had just said and I got lost in his eyes. For a moment, it felt as if we weren’t even in the middle of my living room with my brother right next door and his door wide open so he could hear every word we were saying. A that moment it felt as if we were anywhere but. A dark forest with the millions of bright glowing stars shinning as bright as can be just above their heads. Or out under a tree somewhere, the leaves just beginning to change and my head placed just so atop his chest and the slowness of his breathing in and out soothing me in a way that only he is able to do.

We were in my room now. He shut the door with his foot as he pulled me into kissing again and I pushed him up against the door so I could be able to lock it. He let out a heavy breath as he hit the door and I giggled.

We were on the bed now, and somewhere along the way from my door to this spot, both of our shirts were taken off. He mounted himself atop of my body and pin my arms by my head so I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere. I smiled and just stared at his features as he did the same.

We shouldn’t be doing this. I mean, he does have a girlfriend and I don’t think that he will be particularly pleased to hear about his recent activities. I go to stop him, but he doesn’t let me and our body mingled together in ways I have never experienced before. It was as if we were one and I didn’t want it to end. His skin pressed against mine and it felt as if they were made of silk straight from China or cotton straight from the fields. I couldn’t really tell the difference and, honestly, I wasn’t really focusing on the right feel of his skin at the moment.

Every touch of his lips sent shots of heat through my body.

Every caress with his hands made my body tingle.

I didn’t want it to end.

Maybe this could work out after all.
