That Glee Club

Louis Tomlinson. One of the biggest jerks and most popular boy in the school. He has a cocky attitude and seems to get everything he wants. But one day he gets dragged into something no one would ever guess. Glee Club. Glee Club was where all the "losers" and "nobody's" were at. Louis eventually sees his talent of singing, and starts to fall in love with the club. Maybe even falling in love with someone else in the process. One problem.... She hates him and she's the female lead of the club. Can Louis use his talent for good and show the school that Glee Club is a place where you can just be yourself?

6. Chapter 6:

I can't believe I'm doing this right now. I left the cafe and went into the library. Maybe they have some sheet music I can use. I looked around before searching. I can't let people see me in here, it would just bring down my rep even more. I sighed and began looking. " What you looking for?", I heard someone ask. I jumped and looked up to see the black haired girl, Sam I think. " Oh umm, just looking", I said before turning away. " Hey wait", she reached out to me. I sighed and turned around to face her. " Don't worry about Avery, she's like this when she's afraid of something", Sam said. I was confused. " Wait so she's afraid of me?", I pointed to myself. " Well I think she's scared that you're gonna take her spotlight. Which in my opinion is a big deal to her, considering she doesn't have much", Sam picked her book bag off the ground. " But I don't even want the spotlight, I don't even want to be in this stupid club", I said a little louder then intended. Sam shot me a look. " Ok listen, I was gonna be nice, but glee club is not stupid. It's really important to all of us, it's the one place we can just be ourselves. If you have a problem with that, then just go", she pushed past me. What was with these girls and pushing? Maybe that was a bit mean.

" Wait Sam", I called out to her. She stopped and turned around. " I'm sorry, it's just I don't think I'm good enough for this. I didn't even think I could sing and now here I am. I just need some help", I looked down. That was the truth, partially. I didn't know what the hell I was doing. " Well if you needed help you could've just asked me", Sam said before walking back over to the sheet cart. I gave her a smile then began looking again. " So anything particular you're looking for?", Sam asked looking up at me. " Umm, something like The Fray I guess. I don't know Sam, help", I laughed. She laughed at me. She then pulled some sheet music out of the cart. " Here take this, I think this will be good", she handed me the papers. I looked down and saw it was titled ' Look After You'. " I love this song!", I exclaimed.

Then a thought occurred to me as I flipped through it. I don't know how to read sheet music, like the notes and stuff. Sam started to walked away before I stopped her again. " Wait, can you help me practice?", I asked her. She nodded and took my arm. " Where..?", before I could say anything we walked into a big auditorium. " Welcome to the auditorium!", Sam threw her hands in the air. I laughed at her. Then I saw someone standing on the stage. It was Avery. " Hey Avery! Can we use the stage?", Sam asked walking up. Avery smiled until she saw me. It faded. " You're helping him?", she pointed at me again. I rolled my eyes, " You do know I have a name, not just him". She glared at me. I knew I pushing her buttons, but it was fun to see her get mad. It was kind of attractive when she was mad. Stop that! I yelled at myself. " Yeah, he needs help, but since you're here maybe you can help him...", Sam trailed off. I looked at her and so did Avery. " What!?", we both said at the same time. " Yeah, the newbie and the pro, it will be good practice for the both of you. Now get to work", Sam smirked and stepped off the stage. I watched her as she left the auditorium.

" So are you going to get up here or what?", Avery asked from up on stage. I sighed and went up. " So what do you have?", she took the sheet music out of my hands. " You know snatching isn't nice", I smirked at her. " Look After You? That's a good song. Do you think you can handle it", she ignored me comment. " Oh um, I think if you teach me then yes", I crossed my arm over my chest. She nodded and led me over to the piano. She put the music on the piano stand. " Ok so it starts off like this", she began to play the piano. After a few seconds she pointed to me. I just stood there. " Oh wait was I suppose to come in?", I asked. She stopped playing. " Yes... That's why I pointed to you, genius", Avery said while flipping the pages back. " Again?", I asked. " That would be nice", she began to play again. This was going to be a long day.

I have to get those two to get along. Even if it means leaving them alone in the auditorium. I just hope that this works. I can't believe Carley talked me into doing this, she knows they hate each other. It's pretty obvious. I walked into the glee room to see Zayn and Carley. " Are they in there?", Carley asked. I nodded. I looked at Zayn, his carmel eyes sparkled. Ok yes, I did have a little crush on Zayn, but like it matters. " What did you do Carley?", Zayn asked her. I walked up and sat down in a chair. " Well since Avery and Louis hate each other so much, I thought that maybe getting them alone would teach them to get along", she said proudly. " Well what if it doesn't work? Then what will you do?", he crossed his arms over his chest. Zayn was right, what would we do. We need the two of them, I know we haven't heard Louis sing, but if Mr. Blake believes in him so much he has to be good. " Well they are practicing right as we speak", I spoke up. " I hope this works guys", Zayn slumped down in his chair. " Calm down Zayn it will, trust me", Carley said with a smile. If this didn't work, then I don't know what we'll do.
