Taken

Maddie Lynn is a heartbreaker to say the least. Her dark brunette hair and huge, blue puppy-dog eyes could make anyone love her, girls included. She didn’t pride herself in her looks though, but rather in her kind personality, not believing that she had the looks of what everyone described.
Maddie is humble and prefers to give than to get. She is constantly donating her money to good causes, rather than diamonds and shoes.
She and Liam James Payne were always giving together until the X Factor came and he was soon put into a band which escalated in popularity to become the biggest boy band in the world. She broke up with him before the audition. But that seemed to be her biggest mistake.
Two years later, after Liam had been dating a girl for that long, Liam announces his wedding date to Fiona Lenni and invites Maddie. After being hung up on Liam for two years, Maddie is at a loss for what to do.
Trouble arisesand Maddie finds herself interrupting a wedding…

4. Stupid Fans

Meet me at my place? - Liam

My heart skipped a beat as I read the text over and over again. It didn't have the same effect as reading our old texts from when we were dating, but the effect was still huge. Heart fluttering and butterflies flapping their little wings around my stomach.

I jumped out of bed and ran into my walk-in closet, riffling through my various outfits until I found that one dress that Liam had said that he'd always loved. It was a cute little dress. Purple and blue with a cute, flowing skirt. With it I wore black pumps and I went to my mirror, fixing my curly hair until I was sure it was perfect and I skipped down stairs, trying not to wake my parents as I texted Liam that I'd be there soon and hopping into my car.

The drive wasn't too long and I soon pulled up in front of Liam's old house before One Direction. He smiled and hugged me tightly, saying that it was great to see me again.

"You know, I don't actually know what your fiancé looks like," I said, having difficulty with the word FIANCÉ.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I don't really have time to check sugars cape that often," I shrugged and he took out his phone, handing it to me once he found a picture.

The woman seemed to be Liam's exact opposite. Her hair was bleached a horrible white-blonde, her eyes are a mossy-green-muddy-brown mixture and her face looked as if, as Harry Styles would say, It had been raped by a crayon. Honestly, was she trying to look like a clown? I blinked rapidly and handed Liam his phone.

"She's pretty," I lied and tried not to let my lying-blush take over.

Ever since I was a child, I blushed whenever I lied. It started when I was six and Liam asked me if I thought he could beat up those boys whom bullied us. I said yes and blushed instantly at my lie. Liam then took up cross country and such, trying to bulk up. He did a REALLY good job. Liam smiled and nodded and we spoke about each others lives, joking and laughing. Turns out we're both still Toy Story nerds and I loved that. It was just like old times, except he didn't grab my hand like he used to. He didn't kiss me and tell me he loved me. But other than that, it was perfect... Until Liam's phone rang and he answered it to a high-pitched, bitchy voice.

"Liam, why was that stupid Woody doll on the bed again?" The bitchy voice demanded, "You know what, I'm just going to throw him away!"

My eyes widened and I grabbed for the phone, making Liam laugh when I spoke to the woman, even though it was his fiancé.

"Touch the Woody doll and you die!" I warned, "I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!"

I gave Liam the phone and he tried to hide his laughing.

"LIAM?!" Fiona yelled, "WHO WAS THAT? LIAM?!"
"I suggest you don't touch Woody," Liam laughed, "She's not kidding. She knows where we live."

"IS THAT ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR STUPID FANS? UGH! CAN'T THEY JUST DIE!?"

My mouth dropped open in shock. Liam loves his fans! Why is he with this horrid woman who he has nothing in common with? She doesn't deserve him at all. Liam hung up and sighed, running a hand through his hair. I smiled and changed the subject. I could see Liam was thankful that I brushed it off.
