2. Start of Another Disappointing Week

Nessie's POV:

I woke up bright and early this morning. Most devils sleep in. Then again, I'm not like most devils.

I slipped out of bed quietly. If my sister Ally or my mom hear me, they'll yell at me for waking them up. I tip-toe over to the closet, pulling it open. It makes a large screeching noise, causing me to jump. All  of the sudden, I hear loud footprints coming down the hallway. I flinch as the door opens.

"NESSIE! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?" screamed Ally. She was the "perfect" devil, if that's even possible.

"Uh, getting dressed?" I replied calmly.

"Well,do you have to be so loud?" she huffed impatiently.

Ally stormed out of the room, mumbling. I silently looked through the closet. All red and a tiny bit of black. Oh, how I wish I was an angel. They wear such pretty, white dresses and always are nice.

I found a red, short dress. It was very tight and had a skinny black belt at the waist. I sighed, putting on alot of black eyeliner. I hate how devils dress. At least the eyeliner makes my green eyes looking bright.

I let my striaght blonde hair be itself, and I put a small red bow in my hair. Most devils don't wear bows. I grabbed my school bag from its hiding spot, quietly opened the window, and jumped out onto the tall oak tree. I was almost down when I saw Ally walking around. What? She skips school everyday, and sleeps until 3:00pm on most days.

I tried to sneak past her. Finally, I got far enough away that I didn't have to sneak anymore. I guess I'm off to another day of angels giving me glares and gossiping about me. Well, I don't see it. But all my friends say that it happens. Which I don't believe. Oh well.
