58. The Talk

So, Liam and I pretty much spend the rest of the day in bed WITH THE DOOR LOCKED, so Louis and Harry couldn't bug us. Luckily, they leave us alone and I think they went out. I went to make us lunch and they weren't there, so... Anyway, Liam and I kinda had a movie marathon and well, a make out marathon. Don't judge. We talked and talked and messed around, and, well, it was just a good day overall. We talked about the fact that he will be gone a lot and we won't be able to see each other as much. "Brooke, I need to talk to you." He says, turning to face me. I raise my eyebrows. "About what?" "Erm, at the interview-" "The one like 3 months ago?" "Yeah. Anyway, those girls were calling you a slut and then the 'Someone wants to get laid tonight' thing and I look at you and you just looked like you were in so much pain and I couldn't stand that you just look so hurt and I thought about it while I was gone and I just wanted to talk to you about the whole having... it thing." He says, looking a little embarrassed. My cheeks completely flush red. "Liam, no! We are not having that discussion!" I say, looking away. "Brooke, we need to have this conversation. And you know it." He's right. I do need to talk to him about it. What, NO! I can't! "Liam, I just.. I can't." "You have to." "No, I don't." "Yes, you do." "No, I don't." "Yes, you do!" "Liam, please respect this." "Brooke-" "Liam, please, if you can't respect this, then you aren't respecting my boundaries or me." "Brooke, I'm not making you have sex with me!" He screams at me, as he grabs my wrists, his eyes rock hard. He sighs.  "I'm asking you to tell me why it hurt you so much." He says, his eyes getting softer. "Be-because..." I stutter. "It hurts because no one knows. No one understands how hurt I was when I saw couples hugging, kissing. Knowing that I was all alone. So I thought more and made a vow to myself to wait until marriage." I sigh. "I'm sorry." Liam says, letting go of my wrists. "No, I am. I should have told you, that day. Liam, I told you this before, but I'll tell you again. I never thought anyone would love me. It hurt because I had no idea why. Was it because I was small? A nerd? Ugly? I thought I would never find love. But here you are, loving me." He smiles and pulls me into a hug.
