9. Liam's Confessions

I pushed Louis off of me. "I better go see what my mom wants. Be back in a few," I kissed him on the cheeck and pushed out of the bed.

Without looking back, I grabbed the doorknob and pulled the door shut behind me. I turned around and Liam was standing by the doorway, staring into my eyes. I gave him a weird look, but he stayed serious. That's how I knew that something was up.

He motioned with his finger for me to follow, and I followed him down the hallway to the last door. This must be his room, I thought to myself.

Liam opened the door and held it open for me. I walked inside and he slammed the door shut, startling me. I saw him turn the lock out of the corner of my eye. This room was much smaller than mine and Louis's, but it still worked. A queen-sized circle bed was in the far corner, and light brown dressers were on the opposite side of the room. Of course, the large windows made the room feel open, but Liam had a fire place splitting the window into two. A cream sofa and matching chairs were infront of the fireplace, and a large TV was sitting on the mantle.

I would have traded our room for Liam's any day.

And then Liam and I were sitting on the cream sofa, the fire warming me in the evening darkness. Liam had finally spoke up, "Bree, there are a few things I want you to know about me." I smiled, "Yes?" He turned to face me now, "Number one, I'm absolutely crazy about you. Number two, Louis hates me, and I don't know what to do about it. Number three, you may not remember, but you were once crazy about me too."

I laughed a little, "What are you talking about? I haven't actually met you until earlier today." He looked down, shaking his head. "Louis and I were friends when you two were dating. He showed me tons of pictures of you, and I told him you were beautiful. He told me that I'd never have you because you would be together forever. And I actually believed him. So our friendship stopped there, until we both had signed to One Direction without knowing it. When I saw him at first rehearsal, he acted like that never happened. That's why I was so excited to come on this trip. I knew you had broken up, and I thought that just maybe, just maybe, we could connect like you and Louis did. But I knew that wasn't going to happen, because he was always talking about you."

Liam paused a little, but continued, "But one time, I visited his house, not knowing that you were going to be there. So I knocked on the front door. His mum answered, and I asked if Louis was home. His mum sort of sighed and said it was alright to knock on his bedroom door and see if he would answer. I was a little bit confused, because I never knocked and his mum always just called him down. But I walked up anyways and knocked on the door. No one answered, and I opened it a tiny crack. And there you were, sitting on his bed. I opened the door fully and I knew you were his girlfriend. You asked me who I was, and I said that I was Liam, one of Louis's friends...."

Liam's voice blacked out from me, because I remember it so perfectly now.

"Hi, I'm Liam, one of Louis's friends. You must be Brianna."

That was when I still went by my full name.

I looked the boy up and down. He was cute, infact adorable. His purple basketball shorts were just a tiny bit too small, and his shirt was large, hanging down to his mid-thigh. Liam's hair was long, brown, and curlly.

I giggled and patted down on the bed next to me, "Come sit. Louis decided to take a shower before-" I stopped myself. I knew that this cute, innocent boy could tell Mrs. Tomlinson, so I just shut my mouth and smiled.

Liam came and sat by me, asking, "Before what?" "Before our date," I lied to him.

Liam gushed, "God, you are beautiful," then blushed pink. I smiled, "Thank you."

Then he kissed me. He kissed me right there, in Louis's bedroom, on his bed. I pulled away, feeling guilty. Liam's face instantly turned red, and he whispered, "Don't tell Liam, please. Don't even tell him I was here."

     And then he was gone.

Liam brought me out of my thoughts, "Do you remember now?" I swallowed and glanced at him, "So you were the Liam that I never got to see again."

Liam nodded and looked down at his feet. How am I supposed to keep this from Lou?
