3. I So am NOT Ready

It was the following Saturday. The Saturday that I dreaded for two and a half days straight. It was the Saturday that we were flying with One Direction to New Jersey.

The wind blew softly in my face as I stood outside, waiting for my mom to pack up the car. It was somewhere around 90 degrees out, typical Florida weather. The air was hot and humid, and I couldn't wait to get on that airplane.

My outfit today was a pair of Hollister jean shorts and a blue floral tank top. My huge Gucci sunglasses blocked the radiant sunlight from my eyes. I was wearing American Eagle flip flops, and looking down at my feet, I could notice that it showed my Florida glorious tan.

I looked up when I heard my mom grunt. She was trying to shove the last suitcase into the back of our black Hummer. I smiled and called over, "Need some help?" That made my mom push even harder. Then she slammed down the back door and smiled wearily at me, "Did you remember everything?"

I made a mental checklist in my head. Clothes, shoes, and accessories. Check. Toothbrush and toothpaste. Check, check. Hairbrush and money. Double check. Femine products. Oh yes. Shampoo, Conditioner, etc. Check. Phone, check.

Then it hit me. "Wait mom," I shouted to her before she got all the way in the car, "I forgot my phone charger."

I pushed past the screen door and ran though the family room. I ran up the steps, two at a time, making sure not to fall. Then I rushed down the hallway to the game room. There was my prescious purple iPhone charger, sitting in the corner as if waiting for me.

After I grabbed it and ran back downstairs, my mom was waiting for me in the car. I jumped in and the AC blew in my face, obviously on full blast. It was so going to mess up my perfectly curled hair.

I turned it down and my mother scowled at me, but then smiled. "You ready?"

Of course I wasn't ready. I was about to see the love of my life, who I have been watching on TV, falling asleep to his music, and had posters of all over my walls. I still had the pictures of us on my camera, and any on his camera he probably deleted. I could feel my face turning a light shade of pink as my mom pulled out of our driveway.

I laid my head against the cool window, closing my eyes and listened to "Some Nights" by Fun blast through my mom's stereo. I knew she was just trying to look cool for Mrs. Tomlinson, who was always the cool mom.

Then I wanted to punch myself, because another memory popped into my mind. It was mine and Louis's 6 month anniversery, and we were at his house.

"You look beautiful, Bree," Louis whispered in my ear and continued to kiss my neck softly. I ran my finger through his long, flippy hair.

He looked up at me and we stared into each others' eyes. Louis slid his large hands up against my face and pulled me in for a kiss. I wrapped my hand around his neck and kissed him back. His lips seemed to almost fit perfectly with mine, and when we kissed, it felt like the whole world stopped and admired us.

We heard the kitchen door slam shut and I got off of Louis and sat down next to him. Mr. Tomlinson walked in and smiled at me, then frowned at Louis. I glanced at Louis, but he was staring his father down.

Without another word his dad walked up the step and we heard his bedroom door shut. Louis smiled at me, "Sorry. My dad is a little...." I finished his sentence, "Harsh?" "Yeah," he said looking down at his feet.

I touched his arm softly and said, "Louis, I love you." He looked up at me with is beautiful blue eyes and whispered, "I love you more."

If only that was possible, I thought in my head.

The car jerking to a stop brought me out of my thoughts. I looked out the window to see five guys standing there, five gorgeous guys. And Louis was in the middle, smiling at me.
