I Love You (Book 3)

Amber is now married to Niall Horan, and she couldn't be more happy...that is until rumours start getting in the way of her marriage.

7. The Plane Ride

Louis' Point of View

"In case of an emergancy there are six exits..." I rolled my eyes, hoping no one would see. How many times had I heard the same speech? I had it memorized already, sadly though, there were some people on this plane who had never gone on a plane.

I stifled a yawn, wishing the plane would hurry up so I could put my seat down and sleep. It was 6AM... but we had to be an hour early at the airport.. meaning I had to be there by 5AM... but I had neglected to pack a small bag last night, so I had to get up extra early... Just thinking about it made me more tired.

"Stay awake, Lou," Eleanor instructed me as she placed her hand on mine. "Just wait a few more minutes..."

The flight attendent finished her speech, and I was more than ready for the plane to start going up. I popped a peice of mint gum in my mouth to prevent my ears popping. Niall, Harry, Liam and Zayn all did the same thing, since we knew we couldn't risk having sore ears today... especially if we were going to see the thousands of fans.

The plane started to move, and I smiled. Yay! Dave was sitting beside me, eagerly looking out of the window while he was throwing chewy candy in his mouth, one after the other. He was entranced as we made our way to the end of the runway, and then gained tonnes of spead before slowly lifting off. Gravity pulled me against my chair, so I couldn't see Eleanor, but by her tight grip I knew that she was slightly scared. She hadn't been flying that terribly much with us, so I understood her fear.

Finally after about half an hour, the seatbelt sign went off, so I pulled the blanket up from under my chair, pushed my chair to a laying down position and tried to get some sleep, because I knew I would need it.

Harry's Point of View

As soon as the seatbelt sign went off, Louis straight away lay down and tried to sleep. I knew I should try and do the same thing, but I didn't want to appear half-asleep infront of our fans. It didn't seem right. Instead I spat out my gum and pulled out a book from my bag, and plugged in my iPod. It was a great way to pass time on a plane.

Amber's Point of View

Niall's hand never left mine the whole flight. It wasn't that I was scared of heights, it was just that we barely had enough time together. All to soon the plane landed, and we were allowed to get off. I hoped that we would mix in with the crowd, though we didn't. There were five policemen waiting outside the terminal for us, saying we would have to use the back door. I guess the boys were used to it, but El and I looked at eachother. This was new.

As soon as the back exit opened, we heard the deafning screams, and then understood why we were forced to use the back exit. It was common sense. We ran from the door into the awaiting limo.

"Soo... how famous are you, exactly?" Dave asked as soon as the doors were closed, the engine turned on.

"You have no clue," One Direction all said at once, and then laughed. It was true. They were known world-wide. As we pulled past the screaming girls, the limo got surrounded, so we had to go at snail speed until we got to the road. From there we went straight to the mall, which was already surrounded by screaming fans. Yes... this was going to be a long day.
