7. He Saw Us!

So we are hiding in a bush surrounded by little houses. I want to know what they are. Fawnar soon tells me.

''These, Kate, are gnome cottages. They usually appear in clusters of 4 villages, but this one seems to be a great gnome village. The difference is the great gnomes are more powerful and slightly smaller. Normal gnomes are about 15 center-meters  in height and can only cast simple weather and garden spells. That is like primary school level magic for a faery. We could beat them with our eyes shut. '' She says as she flicks her wand in the direction of an angry porcelain gnome and it falls on its back, struggling to get up like a tortoise on it's back.

King Navara must have heard Fawnar as he burst through the leaves of the bush and Fawnar dropped the Dark Orb. There was

a crash,

a yell,

a scream.

A SCREAM.

The village is gone, the King is gone, Fawnar is gone. It's just me. On my own. A single person in a labyrinth of a world. One thing I can say; HELP ME!
