My Hunger Games

HP meets HG :)

Voldemort has passed on. A new time has begun. President Snow was exiled to London, England. He found the wizarding world. They expected him to be a good leader. Kind, fair, just, balanced. But it's Snow. He wouldn't let go of the Hunger Games.
This is Harry's grand daughter's fourth time in the reapings, since it started four years ago. She is 16 years old. Her name is Hydra. It was the name Sirius Black gave to his daughter before she was taken by Voldemort.

4. Rule Breakers.

The interviews went brilliantly. I answered all the questions well. At least I think I did. They weren't hard. They weren't challenging. They didn't make you stop and think. They were straight forward questions. They were too straight forward. There has to be a catch at why they were so easy. No one struggled on them. Even 12 year old Patrick Diggle didn't struggle. Snow must be hiding something.

"Nice interviews today kids." Ron says. "Though the questions were quite easy."

"Ron!" Shouts Hermione, shocked.

"It's true. Admit it."

"They have to be hiding something. Too straight forward. I'm not buying it." Hermione admits. Everyone goes quiet and the clock is the only thing heard.

"Blimey! It's nearly 1am!" Ron exclaims. "We should all be getting some sleep. The games are in two days." I yawn and stretch and walk off to my room. I open the door and change into nightclothes. I get into bed. But I can't sleep. I keep tossing and turning. I roll onto my side. 3am. Ugh. I close my eyes. I open them and turn to look at the clock again. 4am.  Wow I slept for an hour. I shove off my covers and pull on a cardigan. I walk towards my door and open it slowly. I figure 4am is a good time to sit and watch the reruns. I slowly step out of my door and sneak along to the lounge. The door is open and the lights are on. I brace myself as I walk into the room. Harry.

"Hey Hydra!" He whispers.

"Hey Gramps." I laugh. He hates being called that. I slump next to him on the sofa. "Thought you died."

"Is that what their telling people now?" He asks curiously. "Obviously it's not true. They just didn't want us to meet and for me to tell you about... Well... everything."

"Right." I'm not sure what to say. I hear footsteps. I run and hide behind a shelf unit.

"Harry! What is this? You're supposed to be in the Game Centre right now. For heavens sake go! Go!" My mentor shouts. Harry winks at me and walks out. There 's a piece of paper on the sofa. Lucius mutters to himself and walks out. I slide out from the shelves and pick up the paper.

I know you've not seen me in a while and I'd love to catch up but unfortunately we can't. I know it must stink but I help out with the games. I make it fairer for the non-career tributes. I'm going to get you and Sirius a wand each. Stick with him, he knows what he's doing. Show him this. Show only him this then burn this. The only thing I can tell you is the wands are in the Chamber....

It says more but tears well up in my eyes. He helps do this to people. I wipe away my tears and try to read the last part.

of Secrets. Be careful Hydra. I know you'll go far.

I screw up the paper. I want to chuck it somewhere. But I can't. I need to show Sirius first. I stuff it in my pocket. Noise fills the corridors. I turn round to look at the clock on the wall. 6am. That went quickly. I quickly skip  through to the dining area.
