Forget Me Not -- A Liam Payne Love Story

Aliyah (Uh-Lee-Yuh) is a high school student who is really into theatre. Her and her friend, Audrey also have a strong passion for One Direction. So what do you think happens when the boys end up spending a semester at Aliyah and Audrey's high school?

4. The Whole No-Concert-Thing

The boys stopped just behind Harry. Niall stepped forward. "Hello!" he said, smiling. I knew Audrey wasn't going to say anything so I replied. "Hi Niall." I said to him as he stepped back behind Liam.

"Did you girls come for the concert?" Harry asked. Audrey nodded in reply. "Yeah, we've had tickets for like 8 months now. Where is everyone?" she asked, starting to sound a little disappointed. Harry bit his bottom lip and looked down at the ground. Liam looked up staring straight into my eyes. I placed a hand on Audrey's shoulder as if comforting her when really I was trying to stay upright.

"Uh, management c-canceled the performance." he said, almost regretting his words. I blinked hard trying to comprehend what he just said. Canceled?! What, we've had these tickets forever. Now we can't even use them? I looked up into a pair of deep, chocolate brown eyes. Liam, he was still staring at me. I blushed but I didn't look away. I couldn't. It was as if he held my eyes captive. A small smile spread across his lips and his eyes sparkled.

"What? When did they cancel it?" Audrey asked. She sounded really upset. I mean, I get it, we both had been waiting for this concert for a while now. But, come on, is a concert really better than meeting the boys in person and having a full conversation with them? "We're really sorry." Niall said, looking deeply into her eyes. His ocean blue eyes sparkled as if he had just met the love of his life or something. I giggled a little bit at how adorable he looked when he felt sorry. He was definitely the most adorable, childlike member of the band.

Audrey smiled for the first time since we had gotten to the concert venue. She blushed and looked up at Niall. He smiled as well and I looked back at Liam who was still smiling at me. His chocolate brown eyes were melting my heart and I couldn't take it any longer. "Would you girls like to hang out with us? You know, to make up for the whole no-concert-thing." Liam said, not taking his eyes off me, still. Now, don't get me wrong, I was loving all the attention from him. But he couldn't even look at her when he was talking to both of us?

"Yeah! That sounds like fun!" Audrey said, as soon as she answered Niall's smiled spread from ear to ear. Apparently the fact that we were going to spend time with them made him happy for some reason.

A/N: Hey guys! I am sooo sorry that I haven't updated this in forever. I've been really busy with school and when school got out I just started doing so much stuff. You know, like the beach and the mall and that kind of stuff. But anyways, I hope you guys are enjoying the story and liked this chapter. I know it's really really short but I didn't want to put anything else in and spoil the next big thing in chapter five (5). Speaking of chapter five (5), it should be up some time this week. I obviously haven't updated this story in a while and I want to spend some extra time on it rather than my others.

P.S. -- Do any of you realize that I don't actually have one completely finished story yet? Wow, probably because when I get writer's block I start a new story that pops in my head. Oh well.
