Manual of the forbidden.

False and perfidious were synonymous of my name.
Of all the roles I could star in, I owned the only thing everyone in my situation would reject. The worst thing was that this was not a movie, to only represent, act and pretend; the funny thing is that this is real life, and I had to act and pretend the best way possible and existing.

He, much like the Prince Charming out of the fairy tales my mother used to read when I was a child.
She, the best friend I've had since I was six, unique and unconditional. They said she was perfect for him.
Me, situated right in the middle; in love with my best friend's boyfriend.

3. LOVE?!

"______!" Shouted an effusive female voice, I had missed her so much.

She ran towards me and bent down to hug me. She clenched her arms around my body, as I said, it was so much time I had been separated from my best friend and those phone conversations didn't completely filled the void.

"But look how you've changed!"

"What change? I still look the same since the last time we met" I said.

"Please, your hair is different" She observed.

"This ball of tangle? What is different? Remains the same every year," I joked. "But you have not changed much."

Indeed, Sharon had not changed at all, except for a few more inches added to her straight brown hair. The fringe fell on her forehead down to her eyes,  and her hair reached a measure only slightly below her  shoulders.

"Uhmmm ..." the young man beside us, Harry cleared his throat becoming apparent.

We both looked at him.

"Oh, sorry," Sharon said giving him a quick hug with one arm. "I'm just excited" the flamboyant smile on her face grew even more when I looked at her. "There are so many things I want to tell you!" She warned.

"Me too" I whispered excitedly.

"I guess you two met," She turned her attention to Harry.

''Yes,'' we said  in unison and then laughed.

"This will be great," said Sharon.

She walked to the door along with Harry, while I sat there.

"What are you doing there?  why didn't you get in?"

He held out his hand to help me up. The desire to touch his skin again fell on me at seeing the palm of his hand stretched out to me. I took it and he helped me to stand from the floor.

"Thanks," I murmured.

He just smiled at me, separating our hands.

"In fact, Sharon, you left me the wrong key," I complained, trying to look at my friend and not he perfection that was beside me.

"The wrong key?" she was surprised.

"Yes," I gave it to her.

"Oh, sorry" She smiled "yes, I got confused" she looked in her bag and found a key chain with three keys. "This was it" she was silent for a moment. "That reminds me, I owe to thank Mrs. Montorfano for the favor and give you the key."

"Grumpy Old lady form the 308?" I asked, pointing my thumb where that room was.

"Hey, she's not so grumpy, she's nice when she wants" she shrugged.

"And she almost never wants, right?" I made a gesture of fright. The old woman had not behaved quite nice to me. "Couldn't you have left the right key with someone less ... bitter?"

Harry laughed.

Sharon shook her head and laughed. "I imagine you're tired so thank me, I have your room ready," she gave me a smile showing me her white-medium-size teeth.

"I would appreciate it more if you just open that door" I joked.

Sharon laughed and put the key into the lock causing the door to finally open. I swallowed a cry of victory.

"Come and get comfortable, I'm with you in a few minutes" she announced and told me to introduce myself in the department.

I tried to lift off the ground my two suitcases, but Harry beat me to it.

"Let me," he took them, one in each hand and walked behind me, arranging them on the edge of the room.

"Thank you," I whispered and gave him a shy smile.

He handed it.

He walked out the door and went with Sharon again, I could not help looking at him as he walked toward the exit.

My stomach growled and I realized that I had the cookie nibbled on my hand. I sat in a chair near the kitchen. I bit the small piece that was left and chewed lazily.

"I came to give you back the CD that you lent to my brother, " said Harry with his velvet voice at the door of the apartment.

"Harry, love. You didn't have to worry, I told Louis to give it back when he wanted" Sharon replied.

I choked on the cookie. Love? What do you love? I heard perfectly Sharon's lip smaking against any part of Harry's face as I tried to swallow the piece of wafer that I got me stuck in my throat, feeling it scratched me.
