STOP BULLYING PETITION

Any form of bullying can lead to serious consequences. Cyber bullying is one of the worst form(s) of bullying. Suicide is the most common. Death is no joke. I've lost two (now three) of my best friends in my life and they were very close to my heart. They were like my sisters/brother.

Let our generation(s) make a difference. Trying to gain 500,000 names then 1,000,000 names - enough to get people's attention to see what bullying really does to their victims, no matter how old they are and what they go through in life. They just feel powerful when using force and anger on their target. But really, they (bullies) are just like us.Taking their problems and turning them onto their targets. HELP STOP TODAY!

THIS IS A PETITION TO STOP BULLYING ONCE AND FOR ALL. SPREAD THE WORD ON TWITTER, FACEBOOK, TUMBLR, ETC. LET THE WORLD KNOW BULLYING CAN BE STOPPED.

12. Bully Project (2011) Documentary

Hey everyone,

On the 28th of February, 2012 I recieved an email from a staff member st a community centre. They invited me to come and watch the documentary called 'Bully'. From what I know about the film, I have heard of the documentary before but I've never seen it because it was only aired in the U.S. (I think). This is also the FIRST documentary about Bullying (I think). The documentary is about teenagers in different school(s) during 2009–10 school year being bullied, telling their side of the story and how it's affecting their families too. Film director, Lee Hirsch, was a victim of bullying as a child and decided to make a documentary so that the hidden lives of bullied children would be brought into the open.

He approached the nonprofit organization FRactured Atlas, which gave him partial funding for the film. Significant additional funding was provided by Sundance Institute Documentary Fund, The Fledgling Fund, BeCause Foundation and Gravity Films. The film's music was composed by Ion Michael Furjanic (former member of the band Force Theory) and indie band Bishop Allan. In a screening in Minneapolis in September 2011, Hirsch told the audience that his having been bullied as a child was part of the inspiration for the film. Hirsch said he hoped the film grows far beyond him, inspiring advocacy, engagement, and empowerment not just in people who are being bullied and in their families, but by those of us who all too often stand by and do nothing.

The 'Bully' film, they have a website. I will link the website below so you can check it out.

After the 28th, I will write a review on the film for you guys to read about. Another chapter will have an example of what it was like to be a bully.
