Bromley Academy- A One Direction/District3 Love Story

Ally has moved from her home in Sydney, Australia, to Croydon on the outskirts of London. She's starting off at a new Boarding Academy called Bromley Academy London, where she is studying music. On her first day, she makes friends with a group of musical prodigys, and it seems like there's love at first sight. Is everything what it seems, or will a dirty little secret ruin her new frienships?

2. Numbers

Ally glanced down at the thin slip of paper touching her elbow. She smiled up at Niall and opened the paper, seeing a single sentence in his thin scrawl.

Lunch with us?

Ally grinned and nodded. Niall smiled back and grabbed the slip back, writing something else done and passing it back. This time there were ten digits. She blushed and slipped the paper into the outside pocket of her bag.

"Miss Docket? Care to share your notes with the class?" The teacher asked, crossing her arms over her chest and walking over to the table she shared with Niall, Perrie, and Zayn. There was a murmur throughout the class.

"What do you mean, Professor Lomes?" Ally asked innocently. Niall chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.

"You know very well what I'm talking about, Allyson." The teacher said, and Ally winced at the use of her full name. "I'm sure you weren't this difficult at your old school? Australian schools at least teach manners?"

"I'm sorry, Professor Lomes." Ally said, burning. She handed the slip of paper to the teacher.

"Lunch with us? And Mr. Horan's phone number. Hmm. Please save planning your dates for another class, Ms. Docket and Mr. Horan. As much as I'm sure you two are enjoying your love life, the rest of the class do not care." She said angrily, handing the note back to Ally.

"We aren't-" Ally started, blushing.

"We're not dating, Mrs. Lomes." Niall interjected, using a much calmer voice and trying to keep a blush from creeping up his neck. Ally bit her lip.

Zayn coughed and said, "Nially." There was a little laughter around the room, and Perrie kicked Ally under the table. Ally and Niall glanced at eachother, both blushing. Ally's heart was racing. She and Niall had just met an hour or two ago, but could she maybe have a crush on him already? She shook her head a little at Perrie who just raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow and winked.

The bell rang, signalling the end of class. Ally grabbed her things quickly and took the slip over paper from her teacher, muttering an apology as she stuck it in the waste band of her skirt.

"Ally! Wanna talk to History together?" Niall said, catching up with her. She shrugged at him.

"Don't want to feed the fire, do you?" She asked. Ally wasn't sure she wanted people to think they were dating unless Niall's heart raced when he looked at her, too. But she was sure he didn't like her, she wasn't anything pretty or special. Sure, she was a good singer, but being famous didn't always get the princess a prince.

"I don't really mind it. Might give me a better reputation, a pretty girl like you! And it might give you a good rep, too. I'm friends with everyone!" Niall said, spreading his arms wide and high fiving half of the people walking by. It was true, people loved Niall. Ally laughed and ellbowed him in the side. So Niall was okay with people thinking they were dating?

"So you're coming to lunch with us, right?" He asked. Ally nodded and pulled out the slip of paper, which she stuck in her bag instead.

"Definitely. We just eat at the school, right?" She asked. Niall nodded and pulled out a pen, holding out his hand at her.

"Write your number on my hand so we don't get in trouble for passing notes in this class, too." Niall joked. Ally blushed and uncapped the pen, writing her number on his hand. "Write a little heart, for the people, you know." Niall said cheekily, winking at her. Ally laughed and drew a heart and a winky face next to her number.

"That enough for you? Or should I publically kiss your cheek and leave some lippy behind?" She joked. Niall gave her wide eyes and shrugged.

"Maybe we should pace it. Maybe a hug at lunch and a kiss during last." He said, holding the door for her. Ally laughed and shook her head. She could tell that she and Niall were going to be good friends.

They sat through the rest of the class passing notes under the table this time, so Niall could teach her all about the names of his friends and their personalities and what they looked like.

Want to hang out with the lads and I tonight? We're planning on watching some telly at mine.

Love to. Liam's the responsible one with no hair?

That's the one! See you at 20:00?

I'll be there:)

Ally's heart beat a little faster... it was almost like she and Niall were having a casual date... with Liam.
