Bromley Academy- A One Direction/District3 Love Story

Ally has moved from her home in Sydney, Australia, to Croydon on the outskirts of London. She's starting off at a new Boarding Academy called Bromley Academy London, where she is studying music. On her first day, she makes friends with a group of musical prodigys, and it seems like there's love at first sight. Is everything what it seems, or will a dirty little secret ruin her new frienships?

18. Last Resort

I slammed my hand down on the snooze button, wishing I could sleep in longer, but knowing I couldn't. I had twenty minutes until Ally woke up, and that was twenty minutes too few to find her window.

Quietly, I slid out of bed and stuffed my socked feet into my Supras, grabbed my quitar from the corner, and locked the door behind me. I rushed out the back door of the building and was hit by a front of ice cold air. Immediately I started trembling, but I needed this to work. This had to work. I traced back our steps that were imprinted in my mind for the past three weeks since our date. And there I was, outside of Ally's window. I checked my watch. Five minutes to go. I looked around, it was still dark out and the air was numbing me straight down to my bones.

My phone clicked to 6:00 and I let out a foggy breath, and then I began to play.

"People say we shouldn't be together, too young to know about forever, but I say, they don't know what they're talk talk talking about." I sang.

My alarm blared and I hit the snooze button, rolling out of bed quietly so I wouldn't wake Danielle. I carefully leaned over her bed and pushed the window open, so the cold air would wake her up with enough time to get dressed for class. There was a tune, a voice floating in through the window. A very familiar tune and a very familiar voice. Danielle rolled over and tightened her blanket over her body. I climbed up on her bed, leaning against the wall and poking my head out of the window. And there he was.

"People say we shouldn't be together, too young to know about forever, but I say, they don't know what they're talk talk talking about." Niall sang. The cold was nipping at his rosy cheeks and sending shivvers up hid body, but he played on without a flaw.

"Cos this love, is only getting stronger, and I don't wanna wait any longer. I just want to tell the world that you're mine girl. Cos they don't know about the things we do, they don't know about the I love yous, but I betcha if they only knew, they would just be jealous of us. They don't know about the up all nights, they don't know I've waited all my life just to find a love that feels this right, baby they don't know about, they don't know about us."

Niall sang, the exact words we had spent all night writing. He had clearly worked hard to finish it for today. He paused before singing the rest of it, let out a thick, foggy breath, and did a few jumping jacks.

I felt hot breath on my shoulder and noticed Danielle leaning over, watching. I shoved her back and stuck my head back out the window and into the cold air.

"Ally!" Niall called, jumping up and down and waving his arms. I giggled and tried to remember why I hated this adorable little Irish snowflake, who at just sixteen had managed to make me fall in love. "Ally, I'm so sorry for what I did and what I said and you don't deserve any of that. I totally understand if you never want to look at me again, but I just want to be sure that's what you want before I leave you alone. I finished the song, and I'd sing the rest of it but I can't really feel my fingers... or my toes... or my face." Niall yelled up. There were a few other heads sticking out of windows, clapping and awwing. I giggled and decided that I needed to let my heart take the wheel.

"Stay right there! And do some more jumping jacks or something!" I called out, and jumped off the bed, wrapping up in my comforter and slippers, and sprinted out into the hall, down the stairs, and out the back door.

"Niall!" I said, bursting out the back door. He turned to me, dropped his guitar on the ground, and sprinted towards me. His arms encircled my waist, and he lifted me up, spinning me around and around. I giggled and held tight to his neck, not even letting go when we stopped spinning. I wrapped my comforter around the both of us and closed my eyes, pressing our foreheads together. "I forgive you, I forgive you so much. I don't care if that makes sence, but these past two weeks.... it's been so hard hating you. I hate your stupid eyes and baggy pants and skinny legs and messy hair and crooked teeth and your voice and your stupid guitar. But mostly I hate that I can't hate you or anything about you ever, at all." I breathed. Niall grinned, and our noses and foreheads were touching now.

"I'm so sorry, I messed up and you never deserved that, I just cared way too much and it got me into so much trouble." Niall said, and I opened my eyes to respond but instead, Niall pressed his lips to mine, lifting me up and holding me tight like a lifeline, and just kissed me over and over and over again. There was clapping and whistling, but I didn't care, I just felt the softness of his puffy cold lips against mine and his warm breath on my face.
