8. Who's that?

Brooke's P.O.V

"So you have no idea where she is?" George asked.

I shook my head.

He was sat on the floor with his head in his hands breathing heavily, his eyes were puffy and his breathing unsteady.

"And your sure thats not her" He asked, he hadn't stopped firing questions at me but Kieren was unbelievebly calm although he hadn't said a word he was really pale and he was shaking. I sighed as I stroked Key's leg.

"I'm one hundered percent sure it's not her. At first I thought Lexi might have just changed a bit but it was the reaction wen she found out I knew and she was texting me off Lexi's phone without using 'our' language and she kept putting from D at the end. Who on earth is D?"

"I don't know but we will find out." George replied "Do you know where we could start?"

I thought for a minute.

"Before I came for you guys, I pulled down ALL of the photos off my wall and took all three scrapbooks and our memory box. I also took Lexi's photos from her room, I took her mail, I never understood why she never threw it away, I emptied the mail box and took all of her drawings and stories."

"Okay hopefully they will be a clue." George added "Did you get the box of her stuff from under the loose plank in the basement?"

I sucked in a breath. "I completely forgot! I'll go back for it tommorow to see if we forgot anything. Do either of you guys know what's in that box?"

"She wouldn't even show you, it's unlikely she let us look" The sound of Key's voice made me jump. Oh well, now I knew he was actually breathing.

"Well i suppose if we never made i obvious, they wont find it"

I sighed again.

"Did you guys get all photos and stuff you had of Lexi" I asked

"Yeah it's in our rucksacks." George replied

"Okay I'll have a look at everything, there's no way I can sleep like this but you guys look exhausted."

George began to put up a fight but soon gave up after the realisation that he was fatigued. The boys said their good nights and stood up to leave the room and I went to draw the curtains.

"Wait!" I screamed.

The boys turned round in panic. "What's wrong?" Key asked.

"Come here I replied." The boys came and stood next to me and I pointed towards our 4x4.

"Who's that?"
