Find out in Daddy Won't See!

11. "All for one and one for all"

Colton's POV

I felt so useless, there was nothing I could do. I couldn't defend her, I could barely defend myself. This time I could not be her super hero, I was not her knight in shinning armour. There had to be a way to get us out of here.

Right now we sat silent in the darkness. She hadn't said a word to me and I think that's because she had seen Amber's dead body. Although I didn't know Amber, it was still upsetting and diffacult to see. I mean, what if we're nexr? I think Krissy blamed herself for the death of the young girl and I wanted to run to her and hold her and tell her it's not her fault. But I kept quiet for everyone's benifit.

I had promised her that I would get her out of here but I am scared to say that this might be the only promise to her I will ever break.

Because we were in the basement, I could hear the three douche bags walking and yelling about just above my head. What the hell did they want!? For what has felt like a whole three days we've been here, they still haven't told us why we were here.

There were angry about soemthing and I needed to figure out what. Maybe I could work something out between us. I could make a deal with them and get Krissy the hell out of here. I'll do whatever it takes to keep my Baby Girl safe again. Even if it meant I'd never get out out of here, or ever see her again or even if it cost my life.

"Krissy?" I whispered across the room. "Are you asleep, baby girl?" No answer.

I assumed she was asleep and put my plan into action. I stood up with the ropes still wraped around me, keeping me to the pole. I started to kick the pole roughly witht my heel, trying to make noise but not enought to wake Krissy. After a few minutes of my constant banging (no punn intended), I setill had no luck. So I kicked the pole harder and louder, trying to gain their attention. And finally I herd,

"SHUT UP!" from the top of the stairs. But I didn't stop.

I herd a low growl and then the lights flickered on. My eyes immediatly went across the room and fell on Krissy who was, like I'd guesses, asleep. Or atleast she appeared to be. Then Ben came stopming down the stairs.

"Shhh!" I hissed at him.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "Don't tell me to be quiet you little shit!"

I shook my head. "I want to talk, please don't wake her, I don't want her involved."

Ben sighed, nodded and with that, just for a moment, I almost believed that he actually cared about Krissy. Then I remembered where we were and what he had done.

He began to untie my ropes and I thought I had a chance of knocking him out, grabing Krissy and making a run for it, that is until he placed a gun against my temple and my stomach dropped. He pushed me forward by pressing the gun deeper into my skull and we slowly walked up the stairs, leaving Krissy alone once again in the dark. I quickly too my last glance at her and swallowed hard, praying that that was not my last chance to see her again.

I was carried through the halls and practically thrown down the stairs but I finally made it into the lower meeting room from before. I still hadn't figured out what this abandoned factory had once been used for. I hoped it had been for something useful like guns or kinives to help us escape if we had found any but with my luck this old place was propbably Willy Wonka's freaking chocolate factory!

I had clearly inurrupted something becuase the two other assholes as their sickening laughing had died whem Ben and I entered the room.

Ryan's gaze fell upon me and he groaned and rolled his eyes. "Ben, you moron, I told you to shut him up not bring him up!"

I snickered and looked at Ben in laughter. He narrowed his eyes at me and shook his head before he shoved me down to the ground. I grunted as my body crashed to the floor. "He was talking about making a deal." Ben growled.

I pulled myself up onto my feet and brushed off my jeans that were now covered in dust. "And that would be?" Ryan asked, not looking as me as he pulled out a cigerette from his pocket and put it between his lips.

"Let her go." I said. I was getting her out of here.

Krissy's POV

My eyes fluttered open and I groaned, tired. I tried to stretch my arms out when I realised that I couldn't. Then I rememberd I was still tied. I had thought I dreamt it all until reality again, slapped me in the face. Then I realised I had fallen asleep! How could I do that in this situation!? I mentally slapped myself for falling asleep.

"Colton?" I called. Maybe he had fallen asleep too. "Colton?" I tried again but there was no answer.

I started to panic. "COLTON!?" I yelled. He stil didn't answer. I couldn't see him through the dakrness but he was a light sleeper. I remembered from the time I'd tried to snap a picture of him and the sound of my phone had awakend him.

"Oh my god!" I thought aloud. "He's dead!"

What did they do to him! I couldn't believe I had fallen asleep and let them hurt him! I started screaming. "HE'S DEAD! HE'S DEAD!" I kept screaming that over and over and tears whelled up in my eyes. Then I let out a high pitched scream at the top of my lungs.

Then I herd footsteps coming my way. "Shut the hell up!" I herd from the top of the stairs. But I didn't. "HE'S DEAD!" I yelled again.

"Who!?" they yelled down.

Then the lights flickered on and I looked across the room through my tears. Colton wasn't there. I didn't know whether to be relieved or terrified.

"He's not dead, see!?" Ben said, as he stood there across the room.

"Where is he!? What have you done with him!?"

"He's fine. Let's go," he said and came closer toward me, starting to cut the rope I was bound with.

"Where are we going?" I quizzed.

Ben didn't answer me. Instead he grabbed mu by the shoulder and pulled me up by my feet. I could have made a run for it right there. But I didn't. I didn't bother trying to get away this time. I mean look where that got me. I was just so tired of this, I gave up.

Ben lead me up the stairs and out of the room. I was pushed down the halls until I was once again in the lobby like area. Colton stood in front of Ryan with his back to me and Logan stayed off to the side, looking as to if keeping a close eye on him.

I didn't say a word as Ben still had a tight grip on my arm.

"Deal," Colton said and nodded his head.

"What's a deal?" I asked from across the room.

"Ah, Miss. Evans. You've finally joined us," Ryan smiled.

Chills were sent running through my body but I stood my ground. I wouldn't let them scare me anymore.

"I said, what deal?" I demanded.

"What is she doing here?" Colton asked, his jaw set tight.

"She's playing the game, of course," Ryan answered

"What game-?" I asked.

"No!" Colton interrupted, "That's not what we agreed on."

"Why of course it is," Ryan said with an evil grin. "A deal's a deal."

"Leave her out of it. She's not playing."

"WHAT GAME!?" I screamed at the top of my lungs. No one had bothered answering my questions and I needed an answer.

"Colton here has made a deal. We play a game and the winner goes free," Ryan explained

"What about the loser?"

"They'll be dead."

I swallowed hard, shocked. But we could have a chance to get out of here, and Ryan dead. Then again we could be the ones in the ground in the end too.

"Let's play," I challenged.

"NO!" Colton yelled.

"How do we play?" I asked, ignoring Colton.

"See those glasses?" Ryan pointed to five wine glasses that sat on the table beside him. I nodded. Two of those glasses contain rat poison. They have been mixed up. The two unlucky drinkers will fall dead instantly."

"Krissy. Don't play. It's a trick, don't you see! It's rigged!" Colton pleased.

Logan then raised a gun to Colton's head. "You're playing."

Colton stayed silent and nodded his head. Logan pulled out a chair and sat him down in front of a cup. The Logan took the seat next to him, with the gun still raised to his head.

Ryan pulled out the chair from across Colton and motioned for me to take a seat. Ben, still with a death grip on my shoulder, walked me over and forced me to sit. Then he took the seat beside me.

Ryan sat himself at the end of the table. Colton, across from me, looked into my eyes pleading me. I knew he would drink, but he didn't want me to. I didn't want him to either. But we could get out alive.

"Now, shall we-" Ryan started.

"Wait," I said. He looked at me, interested.

"I get to mix them up," I requested.

Both Logan and Ben looked at Ryan. He nodded. "Very well."

I picked up the glasses. Secretly examining and smelling them as I did.

"Okay," I nodded.

"Let's drink," Ryan announced.

We all took a sip.
