Summer Love

Lily is looking for a fresh start in her life after the messy, thrilling teenage years, she doesnt regret them, but she craves a fresh start. As she turns 20 she moves into her new house in Notting Hill, unfortunately it's only a matter of days before she is reminded of her teenage years. He wasn't famous then, he was just her summer love, but now she will always be reminded of harry, harry styles.

2. New start

The smell of paint filled my nostrils as i started to come round and wake up, I stretched and opened my eyes to the daylight which streamed right through my window, I still needed to hang the curtains. I'd saved years for this. My new fresh start in London, Notting Hill. I was 20, single and i'd just landed myself as editor to a high end fashion magazine earning more than enough to eat out every night if i wanted, so as i came round and got up from bed there was optimism in my mind, this was the start of a new me. My feet touched the cold ground, it was obvious there was still plenty to do in this house, fit the carpets, finish painting and sort out the furnishings but i was happy to be here. Living alone, it might be messy, but it was my mess, an organised mess if you'd like. I rummaged through some boxes and found my old pink fluffy slippers, they were christmas slippers which originally i hated, but as the months got cooler they were my new best friends. I trekked downstairs to open the fridge. It was bare looking, i hadn't even had a chance to un box my toaster, I grabbed a yoghurt and half a packet of biscuits left over from the car journey over here. I closed the fridge door walked out my new kitchen and turned into the living room, there was a beautiful view of shops and a bustling high street, billboards of the latest headlines and just in my view, a Sunday market. I'd dreamed of this all my life. Waking up on a Sunday morning and being able to walk up to the market to grab fresh fruit or meat for later that day. It was just like the films, it was perfect. I peeled off the plastic covering to my new sofa to sit down, switched on the television to see what the world was up to today, Newsround came on, a kids version of BBC News, you got all the headlines in around 5 minutes, perfect. I may be 20 now but i still didn't understnad the world of politics, besides i couldn't be bothered to change the channel, I knew the typical Sunday morning television, Jeremy Kyle, Location Location Location repeats and morning cooking shows. So i stuck with Newsround and listened in as a bright cheery faced women, obviously high on coffee told me about todays weather, latest headlines and then.. 'and in our entertainment news, they've done it again the fabulous five, One Direction boys have a number 1 album in America topping the charts after their new album 'Take Me Home' was released at midnight' That was it. Forget the fresh start. Now he was on my mind, again.
