Summer Love

Lily is looking for a fresh start in her life after the messy, thrilling teenage years, she doesnt regret them, but she craves a fresh start. As she turns 20 she moves into her new house in Notting Hill, unfortunately it's only a matter of days before she is reminded of her teenage years. He wasn't famous then, he was just her summer love, but now she will always be reminded of harry, harry styles.

9. Hazy Day

Lily's POV

I put my phone down and stretched my arms wide, It was still dark and misty outside when i got up from bed, even though it was already 10am. I walked on my freshly layed soft cream carpet over to the floral, pink curtains and opened them wide. I could see small birds hopping on the roof tops of London. I had such a sense of freedom here, i was loving it. Tomorrow i could see Stacey and Isabelle, they always cheered me up, Isabelle's bright green eyes were always so deep in thought, just like Harry's used to be..

I walked down into the kitchen and began covering the surfaces so i could paint it, it was the last room other than the guest room that needed doing, but i could worry about that later, Once the kitchen was done my house would be complete in time for Isabelle, and Stacey.

The decorators before had already layed white tiles half way up the walls which i really loved and fitted me a new kitchen before i moved in, so i began to just paint the other half of the walls blue. A seaside blue, just like the beach holidays i used to go on when i was little, before all this, before Harry..

The walls only took 2 coats of paint and as they dried i removed the sheets to reveal my new fitted kitchen

It was perfect, i couldn't wait to show Stacey and Isabelle, i really hoped Isabelle liked it.

I went to get a cup of tea, it was nice having cupboards in which i knew where everything was. It was much more like a home now, rather than a house. I made myself some lunch, Salami sandwiches with crisps. Sometimes i wish the good things in life didnt have such bad memories. I walked into the living room and put my tea on the small coffee table, i switched on the television whilst i ate my sandwiches. There was absolutely nothing on television apart from christmas films, in the end i watched the second half of Polar express. It was a cute movie, reminded me of the times Santa was real, or the times i had someone to cuddle up to, watching christmas films made me feel lonely. Atleast i had Stacey and Isabelle tomorrow, Stacey was such a great friend.
