It wouldn't be the Same Without You

Who would've thought a shy girl could steal the heart of funny-boy Louis Tomlinson? He brings out a shining light in her, and they fall harder and harder for each other... Until something tears them apart...

19. A new home

Louis' POV
God, it was good to be home! I breathed in the London air and let the misty drops of rain fall in my face. The London Eye was barely visible in the hazy sky.
"How do you live here? It's so cold!" Alesha said from beside me, shivering against the icy breeze.
"You'll get used to it." I reply and drape my jacket around her shoulders. She rubs her arms and leans into me.
"You guys ready for dinner?" Harry called from inside our apartment. I wrapped my arm around Alesha and lead her inside to the warmth. Someone had set the table neatly, like you'd find at a restaurant. Everyone was seated, already digging into large piles of pasta. My favourite! Alesha and I sat down in the two available chairs, and enjoyed our first meal back in London.

"I want to see the Big Ben!" Claudia yelled. She was mental sometimes, but I could see why Zayn liked her.
"I want to go on a double decker bus!" Lily was the next to shout. The breakfast table was mayhem. It consisted of yelling above each other, fighting over the first tourist attraction to show the girls and madly grabbing at a pile of pancakes, which Niall seemed to have declared his. Amy was shaking in her chair, caught in a fit of laughter.
"Ok, how 'bout we Rock Paper Scissors it?" Liam suggested. The girls nodded then put their fists together.
"Rock, paper, scissors! They called at the same time, and Lily used her palm to squash the top of Claudia's fist.
"Damn... Two out of three?" Claudia suggested. Lily just laughed.
"Nope, I won! Now let's go!"

I'd been on dozens of double decker buses before, but it was fun seeing the girls' reactions to the ride. Alesha stayed by my side, laughing at their facial expressions. They were pulling faces at each other.
"Are you having fun, love?" I ask. She nods, a big smile painted across her face. Good, she liked it here! That means she might want to stay for longer...
"It's great here, but I'm just not used to the cold." She replied.
"Dude, you're always cold!" Eloise said, and everyone laughed. Eloise was sitting very close to Harry, his hand resting on her thigh. Looks like something was going on there... I'd have to ask about it later.
"What are you doing later tonight?" I ask Alesha. Considering our last first date had never happened, I wanted to make it up to her. Her face went red and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Well we were meant to have a Harry Potter marathon, but I guess the plans have changed." Lily said, winking at Alesha, who blushed again.
"Aww! But I love Harry Potter!" I say, and pout. Too bad I had to miss that. I could watch the movies anytime, but a first date only comes once- well, twice now. I wanted to spend as much time with Alesha as I could.
"How about we go to the carnival?" Zayn suggested. Everyone's faces lit up at the thought. Alesha bounced up and down in her seat. The carnival it was.
"Oh my God! Yay! This is going to be so fun! I can't wait!" She was talking a million miles an hour. I liked it. She was showing me more of her confidence everyday, and I knew she was starting to trust me.
"Ok! The carnival it is!"
