Cry Me A River

Life has always been easy for 18 year old, Sami Brown. She's a straight A student and graduated from Richard Montgomery Highschool at the top of her class. She is offered to study abroad in england with her best friend Mitchi Grant. Sami thought she was just an ordinary girl,........ until she met Liam Payne.

2. Doubts and Suprises

".... My heart, is breathing for this moment in time, I'll find the words to say before you leave me today.", Is what I hear in the background while I am packing for England. I hear a knock on my door. Noticing that it's my parents, I moved sluggishly to the door. I unlocked the door and let them in. They sat right on my bed, not caring about all of my stuff they were sitting on. It was really ticking me off, but considering that tomorrow I was leaving, I pushed that feeling aside. It was really quiet at first. We just sat there in the silence. I tried to avert my eyes from there's in fear that I'd lose my calm and break down. That's what I really feel like doing. To be honest, I'm terrified. I am going to live in a huge city with a bunch of people who are nothing like me and won't understand me.

"Are you okay, sweetie. You look a little upset." My dad asked stroking my arm. "Yeah I'm fine. It's just that London is so different from here. I haven't even been outside of the US." I said. "Look, you'll be fine. You didn't let anything stop you trying to get there and you wont stop now that you are gonna be there.  Finish packing. Mitchie is coming over, since I'm going to take both of you to the airport tomorrow morning." My mom replied trying to ease my nerves. Both of them got up and left silently, leaving me with my thoughts. It felt like the more I think about the more uneasy,  nervous and unsure I get. I turned the music up as loud as it would go, trying to keep myself from thinking about it too much.

Everything in my suitcase was organized. I had alot of extra room so I figured I'd take my 1D posters to remind me of home and to make sure that my evil siblings didn't do anything to them. I had just enough room for them. I zipped it up and put it down stairs by the door. Since I had a little time to myself before Mitchie came over, I logged onto twitter. I'd already followed all the boys, so I knew that they were going back to England tomorrow morning, like Mitchie and I. I tweeted the boys a couple times telling them I was going to england. (Like they were ever going to see it. :C ).

Finally, Mitchie came over. She was a half hour late as usual. I nagged her about it for a while, but it got boring so I stopped. We wathced a couple movies and talked about what it would be like out there on our own for the first time and how different it would be from here. "Do you think that we've made the right choice on doing this?" I asked Mitchie, out of the blue. "Anything that gets us closer to one direction is always a good choice" Mitchie joked. I wanted a real answer, but I was too tired to argue so just let it go. I looked at the clock. It was past midnight and our flight was scheduled for 8 am in the morning. Realizing this, I got ready for bed, checked my phone, and closed my eyes to let sleep take me.

I had set the alarm for 5 am, giving us barely 4 hours of sleep. I got up first and went to get dressed. I put on a comfortable pair of my old, but favorite pair of skinny jeans and a random graphic tee since we were going to be on the plane for 5 to 6 hours. I realized that Mitchie wasn't getting out of bed so I tried to wake her up, but she wouldn't budge. I yanked all the covers off and was tempted to pour cold water on her, but since it was my bed and I was going to be living with her for a year, I decided it wasn't a good idea. After 5 minutes she finally got up because of the delightful smell of bacon.

I packed the rest of the stuff I needed in my carry-on bag. I waited for Mitchie to finish getting ready and we raced down the steps trying to get some food before it was all gone. Everyone was already up and eating. I was suprised they all had gotten up this early expecially my lazy sisters Belle and Sky. Once we were full I said my goodbyes to all of my family except my mom since she was the one taking Mitchie and I to the airport.

The car ride there was very quiet. Both, me and Mitchie were on our phones texting all of our friends saying good bye. The ride didn't last very long so we were there a little early. My mom parked the car and we all got out. We got our tickets that the university had payed for. First Class!!!!! My mom couldn't go any further since she wasn't attending a flight. This was were I had to say my last good bye. "Bye mom. I'm gonna miss you." I said while the tears were welling up in my eyes. "Bye sweetie. I'm gonna miss you to. Take care of yourself and be responsible. I love you." " I love you to mom. Bye."

I walked down the hallway were I was supposed to board the plane. I met up with and sat next to Mitchie since she went ahead while I was saying good bye to my mom. They weren't boarding yet so we had to sit and wait. Out of the corner of my eye I saw 5 dudes sit down on the other side of the waiting area.  Once I saw them I knew instantly who they were. I realized they looked even hotter in person. I saw that Mitchie hadn't noticed them. To get her Attention, I elbowed her hard in the shoulder. "OH! " she said quietly trying to avoid any attention. I pointed in the direction of the 5 boys. her eyes lit up just like mine had. " I'm still gonna get you back for that." Said Mitchie referring to me elbowing her. We were going to be on the same plane as One direction. Dreams do come true, I thought to myself.
