4. The Truth.

Harry's POV

My mum, Lily and I had just finish lunch at a small restaurant downtown.

"Where do you want to go now?" Mum asked.

"I don't know, it's hard to go anywhere without being attacked. We can just go home for now and think about where we can go later." I said.

"Wait, attacked? Why would you get attacked?" Lily asked. My mum and I gave each other a look.

"Sweetie, Harry is in One Direction. They're a pretty big boy band." My mum said, with a chuckle. Lily's jaw dropped.

"What? I knew I had heard the name Harry been mentioned before but it's a pretty common name. You're Harry from-- from One Direction," Lily stuttered to get out. I nodded and laughed at her bewilderment, "Now I feel stupid because you guys are so big. I honestly have never seen a picture though. I never had a computer or even a phone..." she faded at the end. I turned towards her.

"It's okay! Not everyone needs to know who I am! I like it better this way because you don't know each and every fact about me. We can learn about each other at the same pace," I said to her in a smooth voice. She smiled and mouthed 'Thank you' to me. We got home and I helped Lily out of the car. I could tell her side was hurting. She hunched over in pain. I could see it was getting worse. Without asking, I picked her up bridal style and carried her inside. When we got into the house I set her down on the couch and she kissed me cheek. I could feel my cheeks getting red. That rarely happened to me.

"Lily please tell me what happened to you. And don't say you ran into the counter or something like that. That bruise is serious," I said to her, sitting down on the couch next to her. I could see the tears start to form in her eyes as she turned her head to look at me.

"It's just too hard to explain..but it'd been pretty bad since my mum died," she said letting the tears pour out of her eyes. I gathered her into a hug and she let out all of her tears onto my shoulder. I just sat there, rubbing her back and shushing her. After a couple of minutes of her sobbing, she told me what had happened. And I knew if that guy came near her, he'd have to go through me. Which wouldn't be easy.
