24. The Represenative

Harry’s POV

“Hi, Harry. Come in, Jenny’s upstairs in her room.”

“Thank you.” I headed up to her room without trouble. I’ve been there quite a lot, and even if I hadn’t, it wouldn’t be hard to find it because of the music that came out of the purple room. Her door was open, so I peeked in first. I had to bit my lips to keep the giggle in that was earned by the sight in front of me. I leaned against the doorframe, and just watched as she was lying on the floor, with that white cat from the first time I saw her climbing on her stomach. I loved keeping our relationship a secret. Not because I didn’t want to show her off, I’d proudly walk hand-in-hand with her through the most crowded street. But what I saw at that moment, that was who she really was, and I didn’t need more. Just her, lying on the floor in dark leggings and a white vest, her hair in a messy bun, wearing my bracelet and laughing in the cutest way.

“You’re the sweetest little thing on Earth.” she mumbled to the cat.

“Hey careful there! I might get jealous.” I said, walking over.

“And you’re wrong, because you are.” I whispered before planted a long kiss on her lips.

“I didn’t know you were coming.”

“Finished a little earlier than I thought, so I thought I’d step by. Your mom let me in.”

“And how long have you been standing there?”

“Just a few minutes.”

“Creepy.”

“Says the girl with a blog about me.” I chuckled.

“Heeey it’s not about you!”

“You lost this fight, stop trying.” I teased. She stuck out her tongue playfully and turned her back at me. I wrapped my arms around her from behind and kissed her cheek before whispered: “You’re adorable.” She turned around, smiled then stood up on her tiptoes and kissed me. I loved that she was smaller than I was. She seemed so fragile next to me, and that gave a protective role to my hugs.

“So what did you guys do yesterday?”

“We had a meeting, then Niall and Josh went out to eat, Louis was with Eleanor, Zayn and I had a lazy day and Liam did a twitcam.”

“Yeah, I know.  I missed it again. But if twitcams…how come you never do one?”

“I…uh…I’m not very cool, it’d be boring.”

“You’re kidding me right? First of all, I think you’re cool…”

“You do?”

“Well I’m dating you, aren’t I?” she laughed.

“Sassy.” And again she stuck out her tongue at me. So childish, so adorable.

“Anyway, it’s enough for the fans if you just answer the questions. Trust me!”

“Are you some kind of a representative?”

“Hmm…could be my new job!” she giggled.

“Mr. Styles, I recommend you to follow and tweet more fans, do more twitcams and just simply interact more with fans.”

“I might heed your advice, Miss.”

“You’re crazy.” she giggled.

“So are you.”

“But you’re crazier.”

“You are.”

“Stop it!”

“You stop it!”

“Harry!” she hit me playfully, before burst out laughing. She lay down on her bed and giggled. I joined her on the bed and started a tickle fight. I didn’t know if she was ticklish, but she ended up being one. She started rolling on the bed, trying to break free from my hands and her laughter slowly died away as the air emptied from her lungs.

“Please stoop!” she squealed between laughs. I pulled my hands back and let her rest a little. Her sight made me laugh, red cheeks and even messier hair.

“You’ll get it! As soon as my lungs get air again.” She got up still a little panting, and rested her head on my shoulder, as I wrapped one arm around her waist. A knock on the door got our attention a few minutes later.

“Sorry for disturbing, I just wanted to ask if Harry stays for dinner?” her mom asked.

“No!” Jenny snapped immediately. I raised one eyebrow and looked at her confused.

“I mean…will dad come home by dinner?”

“Not until late at night.” her mom smirked.

“Oh…then, Harry would you like to stay for dinner?”

“Yeah, I’d love to.” When her mom left, I look at Jenny questioningly.

“What was that?”

“Well…uhm…I’m kinda scared of the thought of you meeting my dad.”

“And why is that?”

“Because…okay look. My mom seems to handle this all pretty cool, but whenever you’re not here, she’s unbearable! When I asked her to give me a ride to your place a few days ago, she practically screamed at me ‘For the night?!’ and she’s just so awkward! And when she talks to my dad… And he always teases me with things like ‘I can’t wait to show that boy your baby videos.’ and ‘Just let me talk with that boy.’ and he’ll embarrass me!” She whined. I laughed at her and planted a kiss on her temple.

“Baby videos?”

“Don’t laugh! Those things should be burned!” she pushed me on the back and stood up.

“Are you thirsty?”

“Nope, come back here!” I pulled her down onto my lap and kissed her.

“Wait. Where’s the cat?”

“Sleeping on the chair, now come back.” She giggled against my lips, and wrapped her arms around my neck.

“Jeeennyyy!” her little sister ran inside the room, making her jump up from my lap.

“Mommy told me to tell you that the dinner is ready.”

“Thanks sweetie.”

“Hi!” I waved at her, she smiled, waved back and grabbed Jenny’s hand. She motioned me to follow them, then bent down to her sister.

“We won’t tell mommy what you saw okay?” I chuckled and followed them into the kitchen., where the meal was already on the table. I sat down next to Jenny, who was obviously tensed. She fidgeted with her fingers, until we started eating. There was an awkward silence for a few minutes until I complimented the dinner.

“Thank you.” her mom smiled.

“Where do your parents live, Harry?”

“Holmes Chapel, Chesire.”

“That’s quite far away. Do you visit them often?”

“It’s about 3 hours by car. And I always go there for a few days after tours and when we have a break.”

“When will your next tour be?” From the corner of my eyes, I saw Jenny shooting her mom a stern look.

“We’re still working on the dates.”

“It’s quite impressing how many places they’ve already been, right? In less than 2 years. But imagine, before One Direction, he was in a band. Back in Holmes Chapel.” Jenny said, trying to change the topic.

“Really?”

“Yes, with my friends.” “So when you finished high school, you knew immediately you want to be famous?”

“Well, it’s always been my dream but of course I applied for college.” “And what did you want to study?”

“Business, law, sociology and something else, but I never got the chance to decide what it’d be.”

“Wow…well, that’s impressive.”

“Jenny also wants to study business. If she didn’t want it before her obsession, I’d think it’s only because of you.” she laughed until Jenny sent her another stern look.

“But I’m happy she wants that. Before, she wanted to be archaeologist. I’m glad she changed her mind or she’d be a really poor archaeologist. Someone as clumsy as her shouldn’t work with old, fragile things.”

“Thanks mom, I love you too.” I smiled at her and gave her hand a slight squeeze.

“I didn’t know you were interested in archaeology.”

“Oh she’s interested in everything that’s a little mystic and unsure. Archaeology, astronomy…”

“Okay mom, he understands.”

“Okay, I got it. I’ll leave you two alone, I promised Laura we’d go for a walk anyways. It was nice seeing you Harry.” I nodded smiling, not wanting to talk with my mouth full of food. They got up from the table, dressed up and in a few minutes, they were out of the house.

“An it will just get worse with my dad…” Jenny sighed. I planted a kiss on her cheek and chuckled.

“What are you laughing at?”

“I just imagined you in the middle of the desert, searching for dinosaurs bones in that pretty dress from our 3rd date.”

“Oh shut up! It’s interesting! Stay here I’ll bring the dessert.” She began picking up the plates, but I grabbed hold of her hand.

“Let me help you, sweetheart.”

“No, it’s okay.” she smiled, but I didn't listen. I picked up the plates and put them into the dishwasher. “Thanks. I hope you like apple pie.”

“Of course.” she served the pies and gestured me towards the living room.

“Do you want to watch a movie?”

“Sure.” She told me to choose a film and pressed play.

“The pie is great!”

“Thanks, I made it!” she smiled proudly. After the movie, I had to leave so I kissed her goodbye and drove home. The house was empty, Louis was still with Eleanor, so i logged on to twitter. ‘Maybe she was right. I should interact more with the fans.’ I thought about it for a few more minutes, then I found myself typing on the keyboard.

“Twticam in 2 mins?”

Jenny’s POV

“Twitcam in 2 mins?!” I couldn’t believe he listened to me. Fans all over the internet went from shocked to crazy. They even got ‘#stylestwitcam’ trending World Wide in a matter of seconds. I quickly clicked on the popped up link and found myself looking at Harry’s messy curls.

“Hiiii” he sang and waved with an idiot smile that showed off his dimples.

“So today a very nice friend of mine told me I should do a twitcam…so I’m doing a twitcam. Maybe one day you can thank to he-to my friend. So basically…now I’m going to answer everything you send in and maybe…follow some of you? But at first, a big shoutout to that person!” he shouted and waved. My burning cheeks were aching because of the wide smile on my face while I grabbed my phone.

“You’re an idiot! I can’t believe you’re really doing a twitcam. It’s cute xx”
