Victorious

Tori is a fourteen year old girl living in the south of England. She loves to hang out with her friends: Kim, Joseph, Matt and Louis. Louis isn't really one of her friends, he's Matt's. And only recently, she's realised how determined he is to get inside her friendship group and steal her friends. He wants to be friends with everyone inside her friendship group. Except her. So Tori goes out on a daring mission, not just to recover her friends for Louis' grasp, but to get rid of him altogether. Sounds easy, right? Just what Tori thinks. But it isn't at all easy if Louis has the power to completely stop you in your tracks, in ways which aren't even imaginable.

4. I get a ride in a Lamborghini

As soon as I hit the vending machine, smoke started pouring out. Kim, Matt, Joe and Louis were staring at me. So was everyone else, including the Abercrombie-&-Fitch-model-boy. I went bright red. This was probably the worst thing I have ever done. I mean, I am known as a rebel at school and I have done some pretty bad things, but burning the Bowlplex? That tops all of my lists.

"We gotta get outta here" said Kim and grabbed Matt and Joe's wrists, with Louis following. I was in too much of a daze to follow them. By now, smoke was pouring out of the building and you could hear the wail of sirens. I sat down, unable to move. The smoke was getting to my lungs. I wanted to lie down and shut my eyes. But I knew I couldn't. That would be my death. I tried to stand up, but my legs seemed to have disabled themselves. I couldn't move. All I could hear was the yelling of the firemen outside, asking if anyone was still inside and I could hear Kim, her voice full of panic.

I lay down, breathing slowly. The smoke poured into my lungs and my eyelids grew heavy. I couldn't shut them, I just couldn't. But the smoke was stinging my eyes, and it hurt. So I shut them, and all I could hear was the beating of my heart. Keep beating, I said to myself. I felt dizzy and sick. I wanted to go to sleep. So that's what I did. I feel asleep.

Kim's P.O.V

I swear Tori was following us. I guess I should have known better. But that's how she would have wanted it. A tear rolled down my cheek. Actually no, she would have wanted Louis to burn, but come on, like I was going to leave him in there. Now Tori is dying, and it's all my fault. A guy came up to me. He looked about seventeen. I noticed that he was the guy that Tori was staring at. Even whilst she was bowling. Victoria, that was the biggest mistake you have ever made. Anyway, back to the guy. Geez, he looked sad.

"It's all my fault" he said, looking forlorn.

"Hey, it's not your fault" I replied. "It was just a series of mistakes made by various people. Like me." He looked at me for a second, and put out his hand.

"James" he said. I shook his hand.

"Kim" I replied "and my friend in there is Tori" I added gesturing towards the smoky building.

"I gotta go in and get her" he said, suddenly looking brave. "After all" he added "it is my fault." I decided not to argue as James tore in. All I hoped for is that he could find her.

End of Kim's P.O.V

I coughed as I sat on the ground. I was outside. Woah, I was outside. How? Who? I looked around and saw Kim and the Abercrombie-&-Fitch-boy by my side. I also saw my mother.

"Erm, Tori, this is James" Kim said pointing at the Abercrombie-&-Fitch-boy. Good old Kim. She always says the most unimportant things at the wrong times. I coughed.

"Hey, thanks" I managed to splutter. He smiled at me.

"No problem" he replied, before backing off the let a paramedic through. The paramedic examined me before announcing that I was very lucky to be alive, and that 'this brave boy' (James) had saved me. He also stated that I need to go to hospital, just to be on the safe side.

I was put on a stretcher, although I was pretty sure that I could walk, and they loaded me into a ambulance. Which was a Lamborghini. Cool. I get to ride in a Lamborghini.

I looked at my mother as I was loaded into the car. She looked back, straight into my eyes, with a sad, worried expression. Then she ran and leapt into the car with me and hugged me. At least I still had her trust. I looked over at Louis, who was laughing. Yes I know, laughing! Well, when I get out of hospital, I am gonna kick his sorry little butt.
