1. The Fight

Chapter 1

‘WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO MOVE TO SYDNEY FOR YOUR STUPID MODELLING, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET FAR ANYWAY, NO ONE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT UGLY FACE!!!’

‘WELL IF YOU GO TO BRADFORD I HOPE YOU BURN TO DEATH IN A FIRE, SO I WON’T HAVE TO SEE YOU ANYMORE!!!’

Chelsea’s POV

I’m laying here on my bed with heavy, warm tears pouring down my face I can feel the rage and fury heating up in the kitchen as I listen to my parents’ argument. Why is this happening? Why can’t things go back to how they were when we were a content family? I am the only child so I had no one to go to but my best friend Alex who was a girl not a boy, I don’t have the guts to talk to guys.

Alex lived about two blocks away from me, so I decided that I needed to get out of the house so I decided to go out my window, I can’t stand to see my parents right now. Luckily we only had a one story house so I didn't have to jump or get injured. I got out my IPhone and texted:

To Alex: Parents fighting, come crash at your place?

To Chels: Sure, anytime you need to get out, feel free to cum!

To Alex: Thnx xo

I walked out the drive way. It took me a good 10-15 minutes in the SCORCHING and BLISTERING HOT Aussie sun to get to my destination, to get my mind off the heat I plugged my earphones in my iPhone and listened to my favorite song right now, it was ‘LWWY’ by no other than my favorite band One Direction ‘Hey girl it's now or never, it's now or never. Don’t over think just let it go…’ I sang at the top of my lungs and I didn't know I was pulling attention towards myself and people walking, riding bikes or the people who lived there, they all just stared at me and gave me daggers but I pretended I didn't see and just shut my mouth and walked a bit faster.

I turned around the corner and Alex’s house was the first on the left. It wasn't a massive house but it fitted the 5 people in her family. I walk into the drive way and went up to her door and knocked 2 times and on the third it opened and Alex jumped on me giving me a bear hug. “Are you alright?’ Alex asked me ‘yes but I could better…’ I replied giving her the finest fake reassuring smile I can pull off, but the corners in my mouth wouldn't budge so I just stood there looking like a camel or something. “ Aren't you going to come in?” she asked with a confused look on her face. ‘Oh, um yeah’ I said rubbing the melted tar from the road off my flip-flops.

I got inside and went to her room. I put my long, slightly wavy brown hair in a messy bun and washed my face because it was all sweaty and gross. I went back down stairs to where Alex was sitting in the kitchen with 2 cups full of pink lemonade; I took a massive mouthful and held the cup to my head as it chilled me down. ‘Do you want to watch a movie in the lounge room?’ Alex asked me tilting her head a little bit. She always did that when she was asking a question. It was so hilarious and cute. “Sure! What movie do you have in mind?” I asked tilting my head just for the sake of teasing her a bit. Alex gained an evil smirk on her face the next minute I found myself in a head lock position with a massive wedgie and Alex tickling me to death with her other arm. She hauled me upstairs, and then I got a text:

From Mum: Where are you?!?!

To Mum: I didn't want to disturb you and Dad so I am at Alex’s

From Mum: So you walked in THIS heat?!?! Are you okay?

To Mum: Yes Mum I am fine, Can I spend the night here?

From Mum: Sure Honey, if it’s okay with her parents

To Mum: Yes it’s okay and thanks!!

From Mum: Bye, have a good time

Chelsea’s POV

I put down my phone and we started watching ‘Toy Story’. I don’t even remember anything in the movie so I must have dosed off.

Alex’s POV:

We only were 5 minutes into the movie when I heard Chelsea snoring, so I got up and got a blanket from my room and placed it on her, and then I continued to watch the movie. I look at the clock on the centre coffee table and it said 7 pm, ‘wow Chelsea must be exhausted’ I thought to myself and started to dose off as well.
