Can Olivia resist the charms of the hottest boy band in the world right now or will she abandon practice in order to join in with their crazy antics. She has to chose between love and her dream. Remembering that what happens in the house, stays in the house.

An X-Factor and One Direction fan fic for the M-Factor competition.

7. Spill!

Olivia's P.O.V.

I reach my room without getting lost, I can't believe that it's only been one day and I can already find my way around this prodigious palace of a house. I flop down on my bed, breathing in the smell of my vanilla body spray which seemed to have sprayed the bed last time I sprayed it on myself.

The purple covers, embellished with silver Swarovski crystals and covered in a swirly silver design, look very welcoming to my tired eyes. I still haven't quite recovered from my late night and I plan to have a nice long lay-in tomorrow. My freezing feet burrow under the cream and lilac, quilted throw that is folded at the end of the bed. My eyes begin to close and I feel totally at ease, every muscle in my body is relaxed.

But I am pulled from the edge of sleep by a loud knock at the door. I slowly sit up and remove my feet from the warmth of the throw. I pull open the door, to reveal Ellie and Amelia, their faces alight with interest. I can see a longing for an inquisition in their eyes, I don't blame them, I would be the same if it was me.

Stepping aside to let them in I feel a sudden surge of energy run through me, the tiredness has washed over. I want to have a nice girly chat with my nice, new friends.

As soon as the door closes, I turn to Olivia, I cannot hold it in any longer, "Spill!" I order jokingly.

"Yeah! This morning we were fan-girling over them, but it turns out that by then you had already met one!" Ellie joined in.

Olivia looks at us, barely able to contain the smile that is slowly creeping onto her face, "Okay so I may have met a certain blonde, Irish guy yesterday and we may have talk and messed out a bit..."

"Oh. Em. Gee!" I screamed.

"Shhhh," Olivia exclaimed, "The boys' rooms are on this floor!"

My eye's grow wide, Ellie's doing the same, "I think I may die!" I mutter.

"I can't believe you've met Niall..." Ellie said, wistful.

As I tuck my long, auburn hair behind my ear, I remember our conversation from this morning, as well as what the boys said earlier, "And he hasn't stopped talking about you!... He likes you!" I pointed out, my voice slowly getting louder. "Louis even said so!"

"Yeah right!" Olivia dismisses.

"Seriously, your both clueless!" Ellie stated. Olivia shakes her head again, I can tell she doesn't believe us.

"So your a sucker for Irish accents?" I repeat what she told us this morning.

Her brown hair falls in her face as she tilts her head forward, her teeth instinctively biting her lip, "Maybe." Olivia mutters, but we all know that that maybe is actually a 'definately'.

"You said, and I quote, 'I don't believe you can fall for someone without meeting them first,'" I continue, Ellie nodding along. Olivia's eyes flash upwards, remembering our earlier conversation, "Well you've met him. He obviously likes you. Have you fallen for him?"

Olivia's P.O.V.

I shake my head, but not to say no, instead it is an unsure answer. I think I have fallen for him. But I know I can't. "I-I don't know!" My answer is honest.

I can tell by Amelia and Ellie's smiles that they don't really believe me but I don't really mind. They seem satisfied with the answer and drop the subject of  'Love'.

They may have dropped the subject of 'Love' but they definitely hadn't dropped the subject of a certain Irish boy named Niall Horan.

"What happened? In the kitchen?" Was Ellie's next question, I could tell Amelia's approving nod that she wanted to know the same thing.

I feel more open to this conversation than the last, I love girly chats and I need a girly chat. None of my friends back home would believe me if I told them what happened, plus, I can't mention that One Direction are mentors or even involved with X-Factor this year, the viewers have no clue yet and if that piece of information hit the internet Directioners would go crazy and the house would be surrounded by scores of screaming girls and paparazzi. Practising would be ten times harder than it is already proving to be!

I breath out a happy sigh and start with the story, "Well, I walked into the kitchen and then I heard a noise, I turned around to see a figure sat at the table. I hadn't turned on the light, so it was dark, but I could make out the silhouette of a person. Next thing I heard was a very familiar voice saying, ''Ello Love'. At first I couldn't place his voice, but I had a sudden thought. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I switched the spot-light lights on and found myself face to face with Niall."

"Woah..." Ellie uttered, I look at both of the girls, they are both looking at me with pure concentration, taking in every word I say.

"I didn't end up getting any food out of the fridge, instead I stole his!" I add with a laugh, "We both had our guitars and he took me outside. We talked, sung, and messed about." I didn't want to go into too much detail, not about what we did nor where we went. As Niall had said, it was a secret and I like the idea of us having our little secrets. I also didn't mention that we were meeting up again. The less people that know about our secret meetings, the better!

"That's so romantic!" Amelia whispers.

I am surprised, I can't see anything romantic. He is a friend, a good friend and I know he doesn't think of me as anything more.

My face probably looks confused, "Everyone knows Niall loves food; if he let you steal his he must like you," Amelia informed me.

Niall's P.O.V.

I let myself into Liam's room. Since we're all like brothers and have nothing to hide from each other we each have a key to each others' bedrooms. On a normal day I have five keys on my key-ring, one key for my own house and then another key for each of the boys', each key has a special, different design on it; the persons name with a pattern in their favourite colour.

I need to know what Liam and Olivia talked about earlier, I don't know why but I have to, it has been bugging me ever since!

"'Ello Bro!" Liam greats me from where he is sat, a royal blue, velvet armchair in the corner of his room which is positioned next to a tall wooden bookcase. Liam loves reading.

"Hey! What's the craic?" I answer, he gives me a look, as if to say, 'What's up', and then he voices his thoughts.

"What's on your mind Nialler?" He asks me, but we both know that he is fully aware what's on my mind.

"You and Olivia. What did you talk about?" I ask.

He looks at me, winks, and then replies, "Not much but I think she likes you!" He is smiling like he's a little child in a sweet shop.

"Yeah right!" I dismiss. I walk out slightly satisfied, but now new thoughts are running through my mind.

'Does she like me? I just may have to investigate that. And tonight will be the perfect time.'
