2. A Bump-In

Once he left, I put my cereal in the sink and changed into a hoodie and a pair of shorts. Grabbing my phone, I left the room putting the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Avoiding the way past Harry's room, I took a different route. I got lost, but found my way down to the lobby. I put my sunglasses on and left the hotel. It was a nice day, so I decided to go walk around the city for a while.

I found a few stores that seemed interesting so I looked around a little. My dad had given me money for everything I needed, but I had brought a little of my own money just for clothes. I found a couple of things I liked that were cheap, so I bought them. I left the store and continued walking around the city. I looked at the time, realizing I had been out for quite a while. I looked around and realized I had no idea where I was. I tried to backtrack, but got even more lost. I decided that I could just keep walking and would find my way to the hotel eventually. Once another hour had passed, I asked a group of people for directions. They told me that the hotel was just around the corner and I thanked them. Walking up the stairs, I completely forgot about last night and bumped into Harry when I reached the top of the stairs.

"Oh. Sorry," I said.

"Don't worry about it," he knit his eyebrows. "So what was that this morning?"

I looked down.

He continued,"Was it something I said? Because if it is, I'm really sorry. Honestly last night was really gre-"

"You didn't do anything,"I said.

"Then why did you kick me out?" he asked.

"Because I don't want this to happen," I said quietly.

"What. You don't want what to happen?" he was staring at me.

"Look, Harry, I don't feel like talking right now," I tried to push past him, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.

His breath was hot and smelled faintly of mint.

"C'mon," he whispered. "Just let it happen the way it does."

I looked down, but he lifted my chin up with a finger. We stared deep into eachother's eyes. It felt like he was trying to read my every thought. He brought his face closer to mine and shut his eyes. I did the same and we kissed. I felt like my whole body melted on that staircase. When we separated, he smiled, revealing his dimples and making me smile as well.

He took his hand in mine and led me back to his room.

"Are we seriously going to, well, you know, in the middle of the day?" I said playfully.

He looked at me and smiled.

I rolled my eyes,"Not even wining and dining? I'm offended."

We laughed and fell on to the bed. He began kissing my neck and biting it playfully. I moaned slightly. I heard footsteps and sat up. Just then, a man walked into the room looking angry.

"Who's this?" he demanded,

Harry turned around and glared at him. "She is none of your business," he turned toward me again and began kissing me.

I pushed him off and got up. "Sorry," I said, grabbing my bags and walking towards the door.

"Wait!" I heard Harry call, but I didn't stop.

"Thanks, Paul," Harry said, clearly frustrated.

I left the room and headed towards mine.

"Hold on," he said, calling after me.

I continued to walk towards my door. I had almost reached my room when he reached me and grabbed my arm.

"Why did you leave?" he asked.

"Because Paul obviously didn't want me there," I looked back towards his room. The door was open and Paul was looking at us, his arms crossed.

"Don't worry about him," he said. "He's just being a bitch."

I let out a laugh.

"Let me take you to lunch," he said.

I looked at the time. It was almost five. "It's a bit late for lunch, don't you think?"

"Fine. Linner it is then," he laughed.

"The hell is that?" I giggled.

"Lunch and dinner. Duh," he said.

"Let me change first," I said.

"Alright. Meet me out here in a few."

"Okay," I turned toward my door, unlocked it and walked in.

I changed into a dress I had found in one of the shops, put on some make-up, and slipped into a pair of heels. I looked at myself in the mirror and then grabbed my clutch and met Harry in the hall.

"Damn," he said.

"Ya like?" I winked at him and he just goggled at me.

"Honestly, I feel a bit under dressed," he was still staring at me.

"You look fine," I said. "Let's go."

He led me downstairs and to his car. "So why are you staying in a hotel? Don't you live with the rest of your band or something?" I started.

"Uh no. I have a flat with Lou, but I get bored of it sometimes. So I got Paul to stay with me here for a couple of nights. I like the city. It's calming I guess." he laughed.

"Yeah, the noise and traffic is really nice," I said sarcastically.

He just rolled his eyes. He drove for a few minutes quietly before speaking up again,"So your parents divorced?"

I looked at him. "Yeah. When I was a baby."

"My dad left when I was seven," he said quietly.

"Was it hard for you?" I looked out the window.

"I guess. Sometimes. But I had my sister and my mum, so I was fine," he smiled at me.

"I hate my mom. I mean how could she just leave someone like that. With a child to raise on his own," tears had started to form in my eyes, but I continued. "She lives here in London. Two kids."

He looked at me. We had pulled into a parking lot. He put his hand on my shoulder. "Hey. It's okay. But I mean you turned out really good. And I mean reeeeeally good."

I laughed and wiped my eyes. "Thanks," I said.

"No problem. Now let's go have dinner. Sorry. I mean linner." We both laughed. And got out of the car.

Dinner was great, and we weren't interrupted at all.

When we got back to the hotel he walked me to my room. We entered and he took me to the couch.

"We're gonna do it here?" I asked skeptically.

"Do what? Oh." he laughed."Well actually I just wanted to watch movies or something tonight."

I raised my eyebrows at him and crossed my arms. "Really?"

"Yeah if that's fine with you," he looked at me and smiled.

"Alright, but no funny business," I said, smirking.

I changed into sweatpants and an old t-shirt and we began to watch a movie. I fell asleep halfway through in his arms. It was the best night ever.
