"And who should I make this out to?" asked Harry. His eyes looked up from the picture and he felt himself freeze. "Aurora Ann Life," she said smiling, her honey gold eyes staring straight into his soul. "You're not...you're not alive," he whispered. "You're wrong," she whispered back, leaning over the table. He turned to tell the others, that Rori was back, but when he looked to where she was standing...she was gone.

Rori Ann Life, was One Direction's life. But she died in a car crash. She was dead. She had been dead for two years now.

But now Harry keeps seeing her everywhere.
Aurora was back...but the question was: HOW?

7. ...Or Maybe Rori is the Monster

Rori didn't come home last night. They didn't know where she went. Harry turned the news on after he saw the somber face of the other boys.

"I guess... I guess she was just..."

"She's always been just a dream, Niall," sighed Louis, "Ever since we met her...we were always chasing a dream. And dreams fade away someday."

"Rori isn't a dream, Louis," Harry snapped turning to face him.

"I'm sorry," Harry quickly apologized after seeing Louis' face darken, "It's just...that comment about...fading away..."

"But, Louis, is sort of right...in a poetic way," muttered Zayn, "She was always the dancing wind, fluttering a few inches away from you...but when you would reach out, your fingertips would barely graze her..." Everyone stared at Zayn, but he didn't say anything more.

"Another murder has occurred in London this week. It is almost identical to the Life Murder," said the reporter. Liam stared at the TV in shock.

"Turn that up will you?" he asked. Harry did as he was told.

"Steven Williams passed last night. He was only 19. The police say it occurred around 1am. Isn't that horrible, Ann? Three people dead in two days," said the reporter to his partner.

"Yes, it really is, Bill. I really hope that they find out who the murderer is... Except...how can they when the murderer vanished without a trace..."

"You're right, Ann. I feel for that boy's family... On a lighter note--" Harry turned off the television set just as the front door opened.

"I'm HOOOMME!" cried Rori. She skipped into the kitchen and spun around before grabbing toast off of Niall's plate.

"I had the greatest night last ni-- What's wrong? What happened?" asked Rori noticing everyone's solemn faces.

"Steve...he was murdered last night," whispered Louis. Rori glanced over at Harry who was staring right back at her.

"Oh...really?" she asked, sort of in a careless attitude. She took another bite out of the toast in her hand.

"You don't care?" asked Harry.

"I mean...it's SAD...but I don't know him very well," said Rori, shrugging.

"You dated him," pointed out Liam.

"Yeah...but that was TWO YEARS ago. That was before...you know... I died," said Rori. Her eyes widened for a second, as if she had said something wrong, but then it was gone so quickly, Harry didn't know if he was imagining it or not.

"If you died, how are you here now?" asked Harry, getting off of the couch, and standing up.

"Harry?" asked Rori, confused by the tone he was using. He sounded...cold...and calculating.

"You remember what you said, last night on the swings at that park?" asked Harry. Rori was silent, just staring right back at him with her golden eyes.

"You said 'Steve needs to go'. And now he's gone... Did you...?"

"Are you suggesting that I killed him, Hazza?" burst out Rori, angrily. But her fiery gold eyes did not move from his green ones.

"Look at the facts, Rori! You don't care that he's dead. You didn't know him. People you knew before you...died...you don't care about! You barely acknowledged that your own parents have been MURDERED," cried Harry. Rori looked at him like she couldn't believe that he was saying this to her.

"How can you even be here if you're dead?" asked Harry, quietly.

"I told you before. HE fixed me!" cried Rori. It was as if they were in a scene from the old west. No one was in the way of Harry and Rori, even though they were few feet apart from each other. And every time one of them would talk; Zayn, Liam, and Louis would look at the person who was talking and then look back to see how the other person would react. It was more like a ping-pong, or tennis, match.

"Who the hell is HE?" asked Harry, throwing his arms frustrated.

"It's none of your business who HE is. All you should care about is that I'm here now!" Rori paused...and her next words were quiet, "Don't you care about me?" Harry regretted everything he said before..

"Because I still care about you...all of you... If you guys were murdered, I'd kill the bastard who did it," said Rori.

"I know... It's just..."

"You don't believe me."

"You don't believe me. You're trying to convince yourself that you believe me but you don't. I can't believe that you think that I murdered Steve!" She looked at Harry for a moment more...but Harry didn't say anything.

"No...even worse... You think I killed my own parents," said Rori quietly.

"I just mean..."

"Don't talk to me. Don't ever talk to me."

"Rori!" cried Niall holding onto Rori's arm, breaking the routine of just watching. She yanked it away from him, her golden eyes cold.

"I shouldn't have come here. I never should have come here."

"Rori..." said Liam, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. But he quickly took it off of her after she flashed him a look.

"I should have let you guys keep thinking...that I was dead!" she yelled. The word 'dead' echoed around the house. Rori had never yelled like that before. She pivoted herself and stalked to the door. She slammed it behind her, making the rest of them wince.

"Harry...you made her really mad..." said Liam quietly.

"You let her go again! You always let her go!" cried Niall.

"What's that supposed to mean?" snapped Harry.

"You're the one who made her mad, Harry..." said Zayn quietly.

"Oh, so we should've just let the situation go? Steve died and she didn't care!"

"Well...she didn't know him very well..." said Louis.

"Oh.. and what about her parents? She didn't care about that either!"

"Well... she never really got along with her parents..." said Louis uncomfortably.

"Are you kidding me? She might've not gotten along with them, but she definitely loved them! At least, she used to...you know...before she DIED!" cried Harry.

"I can't believe you brought that up," whispered Louis.

"Well, believe it. And believe this, we might be next." Louis glared at Harry.

"Rori would never--"

"No! OLD Rori would never. We don't know about this new heartless Rori! There's something different about her! Her eyes... her eyes don't have any warmth to them anymore! BECAUSE SHE'S DEAD!" yelled Harry.

"All right, you two," said Liam, being the peacemaker, "Harry has a point. There's something going on with Rori that we don't understand."

"But we won't understand with her...you know... gone," said Louis. Louis shook his head, "I need to get fresh air," he said. He headed towards the front door, letting it slam behind him.

"You shouldn't have picked a fight with Louis. You know how he feels about her..." sighed Liam.

How he feels about her...

"You know how I feel about her as well, Liam. I would never say those things unless..."

"I know."

"So you think...?"

"Rori might not be who we think she is."
