The Adventures Of Binkleman The Brave

In memory of my dear little kitten Cougar who was nearly 2monthes old when he sadly passed away. Also in memory of the main character in this book. My sweet little Binx who became my first little black cat and died a while back now.

This book is dedicated to my boy Nathan who I finally got back because what happens in '!No Nathanial No!' really happened. I miss Cougar & Binx but at least I still got my dear Nathanial.

Hope you enjoy then, this may seem stupid to some but I promised Binx I would finish all the series and so here they are.

25. Oh Chilly Icicles

The Captain was now taking the biscuit! A few months later the air began to get rather cold. So cold in fact that me and Nathan had to huddle together tightly for warmth. We had stopped at a place called Antarctica and it was covered in snow and ice and very cold indeed. It was so cold that the ship deck was freezing. We decided not to leave the ship. We watched the people do there thing, collecting yet more things and loading them on board. We saw a seal get killed by a polar bear and loads of other seals going into the sea to get away. How could these animals stand such cold conditions? I understand the polar bear as thick fur, so do we but were freezing cold. As for the seals they have got no fur what so ever and have gone straight into the near enough frozen water. How could they stand it? I saw a few penguins sliding down slopes and jumping off little cliffs into the water. Some came out later with big grey fish in there beaks. Others came out empty handed. Soon the people got the ship ready and off we went yet again. I could of hugged the people with gratitude for finally leaving the cold behind if I had human arms of course. Instead of hugging I just purred and rubbed against them. They shut us in a well lit room with a single bed in it. It was heated and so soon we were all nice and warm and fast asleep, all cuddled together.
