The Adventures Of Binkleman The Brave

In memory of my dear little kitten Cougar who was nearly 2monthes old when he sadly passed away. Also in memory of the main character in this book. My sweet little Binx who became my first little black cat and died a while back now.

This book is dedicated to my boy Nathan who I finally got back because what happens in '!No Nathanial No!' really happened. I miss Cougar & Binx but at least I still got my dear Nathanial.

Hope you enjoy then, this may seem stupid to some but I promised Binx I would finish all the series and so here they are.

42. Creepy Crawly Canyon

We were lifted from the water on the top of giant beetles as they twisted there heads to snap us off there backs for lunch. We all leapt to dry land. We could just about see in the dark as our eyes adjusted. I wish that we couldn't, for what I saw was a terrifying site indeed. Right in front of us were giant scorpions, giant beetles, huge dragonflies and many other creepy crawlys. They were al bigger than us. I certainly did not feel like dabbing these monster butterflies or chewing up these huge spindly looking spiders with huge teeth and hairy brown legs. Some of the bugs were giving off an illuminate glow that helped us see what was going on around us. They all launched themselves at us as our fake mother fought for our lives as well as her own. We saw a giant bumble bee leaving the ravine and so all leapt onto it as it lifted us on our next flight, away from those beastly bugs. As it got to the top of the ravine we jumped off onto the edge. We scrambled away before we had  chance to fall back in. Then we saw yet something else to worry about. As we watched the giant bumble bee fly away we saw tiny little things coming towards us on two feet in a swarm.
