The Adventures Of Binkleman The Brave

In memory of my dear little kitten Cougar who was nearly 2monthes old when he sadly passed away. Also in memory of the main character in this book. My sweet little Binx who became my first little black cat and died a while back now.

This book is dedicated to my boy Nathan who I finally got back because what happens in '!No Nathanial No!' really happened. I miss Cougar & Binx but at least I still got my dear Nathanial.

Hope you enjoy then, this may seem stupid to some but I promised Binx I would finish all the series and so here they are.

11. Cougar's Buddies

Now Cougar introduced me to his three friends. The first one on his left was called Alhandro and he was a grey and white cat with green eyes. The one on his right was called Abomination, well that was his name they gave him as he had a really stupid name. It used to be A-bomi. I sniggered as I heard this and the completely grey cat with amber eyes hissed at me and said "Oh shut up, what do you expect a toddler to call you, I mean she says that name for everything!" I shut up as Cougar turned around to look into the cat behind him. Now this cat looked really rough. He was an adult cat, fully black like me but his fur was shaggy, long and really matted at parts. He had an amazing dark blue eye on his left. But then I noticed his other eye, it was blurred over with whiteness, I could see it was brown underneath. There was a scar across this eye. I noticed a huge rip out of his right ear. He had a long stitch line along his left side from front paws, right to the back. I hadn't noticed his right back paw until he stood up beside Cougar. It was a metal robotic foot that replaced where a foot should be. The metal foot moved and I looked up straight into his eyes. He came out with "admiring my injury's are we?" I replied back with a worried tone "I-I didn't mean to stare, um, what happened to you?" He said back to me smugly "Well that really isn't any of your business now is it!" I gulped again and backed up a bit. "Now, now Chief, that's no way to speak to him, he's my little brother after all". Cougar said in an important tone. "Yeah I gathered that, I can smell him from here". Chief said gruffly. He then walked off with Cougar beside him as Alhandro and Abomination ran after them. Cougar stopped and turned to face me saying "Well come on then!" I followed him for a while. Climbing over buildings and all over town it seemed. We came to the same crates my mum said mice lived. I tagged back, but as they disappeared behind the piled up crates and I heard Cougar say in a slightly irritated voice "Oh come on Binx!" So I went behind the crates to see a hole in the wall, just big enough for a cat to squeeze through. I went inside as Cougar climbed yet more crates and randomly flew into the wall. He hit a big grey button that turned on lights above that glowed dark blue above. As the three cats and my brother curled up in a little corner of this huge room I followed and led beside my brother. It took no time at all to get to sleep as I now knew I was safe and warm, as well as being tucked up with my brother. Even if it was with a bunch of strangers. As I said in my first book, your safer in numbers.
