The Adventures Of Binkleman The Brave

In memory of my dear little kitten Cougar who was nearly 2monthes old when he sadly passed away. Also in memory of the main character in this book. My sweet little Binx who became my first little black cat and died a while back now.

This book is dedicated to my boy Nathan who I finally got back because what happens in '!No Nathanial No!' really happened. I miss Cougar & Binx but at least I still got my dear Nathanial.

Hope you enjoy then, this may seem stupid to some but I promised Binx I would finish all the series and so here they are.

23. Bright Lights & Money Galore

A few days later we stopped at another island full of bright lights. It was so bright me and Nathan had to squint for ages before we could adjust to it. When we finally did adjust to the bright lights all around we left the ships deck and began to explore again. I must say, I do love exploring. It's even better with a companion, especially as he's my brother. Every single building we passed was covered in bright colourful lights like an ever lasting rainbow. Some of the lights made images that moved. A cowboy took off his hat then put it back on, repeating the process every five seconds. There was another one with a lady with very long legs that seemed to walk on the spot. Other lights formed writing that flashed at you. Now I can't read but I was still exited to explore some more. It was a very load country with music playing everywhere we went. It was crammed with people all wearing really smart clothes. There were no cats anywhere. A few people stopped and stared at us but most of them just kept on walking without even a sideways glance. We decided to go in one of the buildings to see what they beheld. We picked a really bright building with lit up playing cards on it. We were surrounded by sudden bright white light. The room we entered was huge. It was a gambling room with many people playing in there. Lots of cards on the floor. Green carpets and games machines that blared music loudly. As we walked around admiring the view, people were to busy gambling to notice two cats walking around. As we approached one of the machines a bloke was playing on it started blaring music really loud as money began to fly around the floor. Then as the money stopped a constant siren went off making us fly out the open double doors as people rushed over to grab as much money as they could. What greedy people. I don't know what that siren was but I decided it best we head back to the ship, rather than explore this strange land any more. It's doing our eyes in anyway. When we got back to the ship we darted in quickly and headed for the darkest place we could find. The ship once again headed on with it's voyage. We were glad to no longer be in Las Vegas.
