The Adventures Of Binkleman The Brave

In memory of my dear little kitten Cougar who was nearly 2monthes old when he sadly passed away. Also in memory of the main character in this book. My sweet little Binx who became my first little black cat and died a while back now.

This book is dedicated to my boy Nathan who I finally got back because what happens in '!No Nathanial No!' really happened. I miss Cougar & Binx but at least I still got my dear Nathanial.

Hope you enjoy then, this may seem stupid to some but I promised Binx I would finish all the series and so here they are.

22. A Place Of Love

Overnight we stopped at a country called France in a city called Paris. It's suppost to be the place of love but I'm not so sure. I just want to get home. They let us off the ship, knowing we would return as it's not our country. As me and Nathan plucked up our courage we decided to go exploring. We may as well make the most of being on that blasted ship for 2 years. We will be fully grown adults by the time we get home. Cougar will think I'm dead. My mum will think Nathan's dead. Jess will give up searching for me. So to cheer ourselves up we decided to go walk about for a bit. We knew they would wait for us to return because we heard them say so. There was no risk of them leaving without us so off we went. We saw so many amazing sights. It was a well lit area of Paris. There was a big triangle like building known as the Eiffel Tower. I showed Nathan how to climb by using the free running skill I learn to climb ladders. The building was just like a giant ladder and if we made it to the top we could see the whole of Paris. After finally persuading Nathan to copy exactly what I do without adding the 'or die' at the end of it, he finally decided to listen to me. It took us a while and a lot of energy but amazingly we made it to the very top. We held on, side by side, right on the spiky tip. The way down was harder than going up. I had to grab Nathan by the scruff many times before he slipped. Luckily for us we made it to the ground. Nathan literally licked the ground with relief. We walked on, many French people bent down to stroke us. We were used to all the affection by now and purred happily, even though we were not happy. I was no longer smiling. If someone told me a joke I would probably cry, tecniquely speaking of course. I wouldn't actually cry at a joke. I know for a fact I wouldn't even smile though. There were lots of girl cats her. Really pretty girl cats infact. A couple gave us a smile while others walked off ignoring us snootily. The males were another story though. you look at a girl it's with then they start a fight from nothing. Very handsome the males are. Some males were being followed by about 4 cats each. Nearly every male we saw had a girl or two with him. We decided that it was enough exploring for now as it began to get light. We got back to the ship just as they were preparing to leave. The passengers of the ship seemed rather happy that we had returned to accompany them once again on there no where finished voyage. We got on the ship and were soon on our way to our next destination.
