Killed For You.

Amelia Flawson is 14, when she's pushed off a cliff to her death.
But something's a little strange about Amelia.
Her eyes are open, and her hearts still beating.
But the only thing she can do is talk to people her own species...

This story is totally made up, but I would like to dedicate this story to my BFF Zahrah, who has had a terrible past.
*God Bless you, Zahrah, and family.*

6. Fortunate

My eyes flickered.

They adjusted, and when I was ready, I stood up.

Everything around me, was...

I was in my bedroom! My old, lovely, purple bedroom!

"Mom! I cried.

No-body came.

I reached my bedroom door, and it opened automatically. I knew that was strange, but the window was open, so it was probably a draught.

I crept down the stairs, into the kitchen, where my mom sat, crying.

"Mom, are you alright? Mom?"

She didn't even look up.

In front of her lay a piece of paper, signed from the police.

I read over her shoulder, and she suddenly jerked.

I was right beside her, though.

She still didn't reply.

I continued to read.

Unfortunatly, your child was discovered at Greyton Bay, just above The Falls. We believe this to be suicide...

"Suicide?" I cried, my heart thumping hard in my chest.

Although, it didn't feel like I even had a heart.

If I did, it would also be dropping.

"All of that was real? I really did die?" I spoke, tears dropping down my face.

They dropped onto the table, and a small puff of smoke washed them away everytime.

"I'm not alive...I'm dead!"

I thumped my fist on the table, but my hand went straight through.

"I'm alone. The only people dead in my family are and gramma..."

I was about to jump for joy, when, out of the corner of my eye, mom was already up, and by the phone. She began to shake furiously, when she dialled.

"Darren? Honey, something beyond hell has happened..."

Her eyes screwed up when she spoke.

"No, no, not me. Amelia".

She paused again, and finally, she broke down.

"No, she's not in hospital. DARREN, LISTEN TO ME!"

I watched her face unravel, and screw up again.

I heard the furiousness of her breathing.

I swear I could hear dad from the other side of the phone too.

That was enough.

I didn't want to cry anymore.

I was outta there.
