"Don't ever forget me," I say, pushing a gold locket into his hands. His forehead presses against mine.
"Never," he promises, and kisses me for what could be the last time ever.

Sophia Smith is Justin Bieber's best childhood friend, and first love. But when he gets a record deal and leaves to Atlanta and away from Canada, Sophia is torn. But Justin promises he will never forget her... but has he really kept that promise?

A story of love, fame, hope and believing...

4. Fall

**Note, I'm going to add in sections from Justin's point of view too, so we get the two sides of the story.**

Sophia's story...

"Okay, sixth years, listen up! I have set you a new homework task..." Mrs Longridge's voice drowns in a pool of disrupptive groans from the class. She waves her hands, cutting us off. "It's to be a short essay. But it's to be about loving something, and letting it go."

Mikey catches me just before I leave the cantine. He steps gracefully in front of my path. "Oh, um, hi," I mumble, looking at the ground, trying to weave past him, but he blocks me again.

"Sophia," he says, his voice making me meet his eyes. They're like almond green emeralds, but are mostly covered by scruffy black hair.

"Yes?" I whisper. I look away.

"I know that you're sad. You're depressed-"

"I'm not depressed!" I snap. How dare he accuse me of having depression. Even though I know it's true.

"Sophia.. I know this."

"How?!" I blurt.

"Never mind...but maybe you need to take your mind off Justin. Here," he slips a piece of crumpled paper into my hand, and walks off. My eyes follow him till he is no longer in sight, then drop to the note. Hesitantly, I open it.

Meet me at the park at around 6:30. May be a little late!
