Beautiful Pain

Teddi has been beatin, brusied and neglected by her mother ever since her dad left them. One day her mother pushes her over the edge by throwing a beer bottle at her and it smashing into the back of her left arm. Raged, she packs a bag and leaves for the ER and not planning to come back. In the parking lot she passes out and an innocent bystander to the rescue. Harry to the rescue I should say. Once Harry helps Teddi he feels a deep connection between them. He feels as though he's responsible for her. Keeping her safe is becoming one of his first priorities. Not only for a crack in the road but of her abusive mother. Will he keep her out of the harmful grasp of her own mother or will she slip away back into a dark painful life?

12. shocker

Teddi's POV:

I was up early today for some reason. It was six o'clock and I was board. I didn't want to wake any of the boys because they hadn't gotten thier eight hours of sleep and for all I knew, I didn't want to take a chance. I grabbed the remote  and clicked on the small tv in the corner. I only knew of one show that would enertain me this early in the mornig. Hollywood Sights. I loved it, they talked about celebs and their love life, normal life, famous life, and everything else. I quickly flipped to the channel to see the last of something about Brad Pitt's new move.

"Direction time." the girl, Jessica Resse, said on the telly. "One Direction to be exact. A couple of weeks ago, we saw the hot, juicy and hitting the Australian harbor. They had  brought along a girl that we have never seen before, wearing an adorable pink ruffled bikini. Harry and this mystery girl seemed to be quite close looking at these pictures but, Harry denied it on the radio show, 2Day, that it wasn't a sentimental relationship.

"Yesterday, early in the morning we did see a few pics of this girl and Harry walking out of his flat. I know what you are saying, 'Yeah, so what if they were just walking out of his flat' but they weren't just walking. These pictures here show them holding hands, laughing, closeness and sorry girls, yes, Harry kissing her forehead in his classic car. Ladies, I think that Harry Styles is finally taken off the market. He seems quite happy about it though, I mean I can't blame him, she is beautiful.

" Later that day Harry and the boys were spotted, rehearsing in a off key building, practicing for their newest tour, This Is Us. All The boys were rushed from the scene. On their way out, plenty of girls got plenty of pictures. All of them show that Harry had in fact brought along the girl and was standing protectively behind her and keeping his hand on her back. Now it's the time to call in and give your opinion on the subject. Hello, Macy?" She asked.

I stared at the T.V. in pure shock. There were pictures of me all over the place. Oh my god.

"Yes, this is Macy." a girl said over the phone.

"Hi, yes, we are talking about the girl that is been pictured with Harry Styles. what do you think about it?"  Jessica asked.

"Harry! Wake up!" I shook him back and forth and he quickly sprang awake.

"What?" he asked a little groggy.

"Look!" I said pointing to the screen.

"Well," she began I looked over at Harry. He had realized that a picture of me and him were on the screen behind Jessica. His eyes widened and he put his arms around my shoulders.

"I don't know what to think." the girl began,  "A few weeks ago Harry did say that there was nothing going on then but now that's obviously not the case."

"Why do say that?" Jessica asked.

"Well, just look at them. They're obviously in love." Harry looked at me and smiled. "But I gotta just say that she the relationship isn't going to last." Macy laughed.

"Why do you say that?" Jessica asked her.

"Just look at his past relationships. All ended in disaster. What makes this one different? Especially because she's not famous and doesn't know how to handle celebrity life, or just being seen in the public eye now. She is probably going to have some nervous break down." Jessica just nodded.

"Thanks Macy. That's all for today, on Hollywood Sights. I'm Jessica Reese." she nodded and it went to commercial.

I took a deep breath. Not going to last? Did everyone think that? Or just her?

"Past relationships?" I asked him and he just looked at the blanket next to him.

"I had a girlfriend, Caroline, and things just didn't work out." I could see the sorrow, so suddenly, in his face and it really pulled a thick string to his heart. He had really fallen for her and it showed. I wasn't jealous though, it just showed me how emotional he can really be. I really care for him. I don't think a lot of people see the actual emotion that he tries to show but doesn't know how.

"That's alright though," he smiled and looked straight into my eyes. I began to melt in the green river that sparkled and flowed inside him. He slowly leaned closer to me.

"Morning..." Louis yawned loudly. I giggled and looked down at Harry's necklace against his bare chest. It was beautiful. The sliver metal looked chilling against his skin. The unique paper plane pendant just hanging on the chain that was the perfect length for him. I loved the idea of it.

"You always looking at this thing." he smiled putting it in his hands.

"I just think it's really pretty." I smiled and placed my head in the crock of his neck, putting my lips close to his neck.

"You like it?" he asked in a low voice, into my ear.

"Yeah, it looks good around you." Harry shivered from my breath running down his neck and my lips brushing against his skin. I laughed at him and he just chuckled.

"Then, consider it yours." He whispered.

"What?" I asked sitting up. Harry reached behind his neck and took off his necklace, holding out to me.

"No, Harry, it's yours."

"I know but now, it's ours." he smiled putting it around my neck and fastening it. "If I'm ever away and you miss me, just look at the necklace and you'll know I'm with you." he smiled. I looked down at it hanging in the middle of my chest. Harry slowly leaned over and kissed it. I just smiled.

"Wasn't that sweet?" I turned to see all the boys awake and looking at us.

"That was adorable." Liam said. I just smiled and stood up, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Food!" Some one yelled. Niall sprang up and ran to the door. We all laughed and got up together and made way to the house. Harry and I got pretty involved in the conversation pretty quickly. The whole time I kept my hand over the necklace, putting it close to my heart.

Harry's POV:

Teddi was always staring at my necklace. When she said it was pretty I thought that a pretty thing belonged on a pretty person, so I gave it to her. I could see the joy in her eyes when I told her that it meant that I was always with her.

During breakfast we were pretty involved in the conversation, but we would always sneak little peeks at each other out of the corner of our eyes. I loved to watch her listen. Not to me, but when someone else was talking. She sat with her back straight and shoulders square, held her head high, and her eyed glowed with fascination. She seemed to be anticipating every word the person spoke and when they were done, she would ponder in her head what they had just said.

When she spoke, she made small hand gestures and spoke with purpose. I loved it when she did that. It made me see all the little things that reminded me why I admired her. When breakfast was finished, we had mentioned that Teddi didn't have much clothing at home and my mum was astonished when she heard it.

Mum had told Teddi that today we all were going out shopping. Teddi refused but my mum didn't care. She ordered her to go take a shower and that they were leaving in an hour. Teddi did as she was told, going upstairs to the bathroom.

The boys and I all went back to the bungalow. I got some fresh clothes out of my bag and got dressed. I wanted to make this a really fun day and I wanted us all to be ourselves, no hoodies, no hats just us. I didn't want her to feel like we had to hid every time we went out or she never would want to. I like going out with her. She always pointed things out I might not have noticed other wise, or say something that's really gets me thinking and changes my perspective about something. I love it when she does that.

I sat on the bed when I saw a little figure appear in the glass sliding door and opened it. It was Teddi, wrapped in a bath towel, beckoning me to come to her. I smiled and walked over.

"Hey, love." I smiled.

"Hi, babe." she smiled back.

"I like your new look, do you wear this often?" I said looking over her. She blushed a little and laughed.

"No, I'm not really wearing this. I need some fresh clothes, could you get my bag for me? And see if my phone is in there as well." She asked with her golden eyes that shone in the just risen sun. "Of course." I told her and softly kissed her cheek. I smiled, staring into her eyes for a moment then turned to go get her bag. I smiled to myself all the way over. God, how perfect was she?

Once inside I grabbed her bag off the floor and set it on the bed. I zipped it open and began to dig around inside for her phone. Nothing. I looked around and spotted it on the bed side table. I picked it up and put it in the side pocket. I zipped it back up and headed back to the house. Teddi wasn't at the door so I assumed she was back in the bathroom. I went up the stairs, to the second door on the left. I knocked,

"Come in." she said in her bell like voice. I walked in and found her sitting on the bathroom sink, still in her towel.

"Hello," I said. "Here's your bag." I put down on the floor and walked closer to her. She was beautiful even without make up on, you could really notice the little brown freckles on her cheeks. Her hair was already drying and becoming wavy. I just looked at her in awe.

"Thanks." she said putting her arm on my shoulder. I stepped closer to her, and wrapped my arms around her small waist. She placed her other arm on my shoulder and locked her fingers around my neck. I stared into her somber eyes and found love. I smiled and leanded close to her. We were talking. Not verbally, but with our eyes. We didn't have to speak words. Teddi and I had our own language.

"Your phone's in the side pocket." I smiled breaking the small silece. She shivered when my lips brushed against the bottom of her ear. She was breathing softly.

"Thank you." she whispered. I looked at the necklace around her neck and it went up and down with her chest. It looked lovely against her skin and really brought out the gold in her eyes.  I gave her a warm smile.

"Be down in ten." I smiled

"Alright." she said unhooking her arms from my neck. I slowly released my grip of her waist, and slipped out the door. I walked down the stairs and joined the boys and my mum in the living room.

"What are you smiling for?" Louis asked me. I just looked at him,

"Nothing, nothing at all." I told them as I smiled contently to myself.
