Take Care

**Sequel to What Humans Do**
It's been seven years since the day I told Harry Styles we had to break up because our publicity stunt was now over. He told me to wait till I was 26, then we could get back together and be happy. So, I waited. I waited until I got a phone call the day after my 26th birthday from Harry, inviting me to a wedding. HIS wedding, to be exact. I knew I had to get Harry back. I'm not going to let seven years of waiting be wasted. I needed him back. And so the plotting began.

20. Blackbird

**Song of the Chapter: Blackbird by The Beatles

"Harry, I have to go to practice, I need to get up!" I told Harry, in the hopes that he'd release me from his grip. We were laying on the couch, watching Breakfast At Tiffany's and draped across each other.

"But the movies not even over yet!" Harry tried to plea with me.

I had practice at noon and it was already 11:30 and I lived nearly fifteen minutes away and I wasn't near ready. "Yes it is, their kissing in the rain. There's not much more after that."

"Well, I don't want you to leave." I turned my body around so we were face to face. He was shooting me the puppy dog face with a large frown.

"I'm sorry, I have to go. The Olympics are next month. I need to get perfect scores."

"You will. Can't you call in sick? Bellea looks so comfortable, you know. She'd hate for you to move and make me get up."

I looked over to my cat who was situated on top of Harry's side, sleeping like a baby. She would get agitated with all the moving, which would result in her following us around the house whining and meowing like crazy till one of us laid down with her again.

Harry had moved into my little apartment with me. We had been living with each other two of the five months we've been back together and it's been really amazing. I'm not sure if we were still in the love birds stage or if it's because we both acted like we had been together all that time that we weren't.

"I can't call in, Harry, you know that. Now I'm about to get up and either you let me go or I just get up and drag you till you let go."

"Fine, Rue," he said and then untangled his arms from me.

I walked back towards my room and grabbed all my belongings and stuffed them into my bag and then I began to change out of my PJ's that I was still wearing. I was in such a rush that I didn't even hear Harry come into the room.

"Can I come to the practice?"

"You can try, but with the Olympics so close I'm not sure if they'll let any distractions in."

"Oh, so I'm a distraction, am I?" He wiggled his eyebrows in his strange manor.

Instead of replying I just turned and gave him a smile and a small laugh.

"Have you talked to any of the boys lately?" I asked him from my side of the room.

"Yeah, they all want to go out tonight. I was going to tell you, but it slipped my mind."

"Oh, well you should go. I can go out with one of the girls or I can just stay at the gym and practice more."

"Well, I had other plans for tonight. What do you say to the two of us getting on a train and heading to France and going to Disney? I know you love it there. We can go and see Pocahontas and Mulan!"

I stopped putting my things in the duffle bag and turned towards him. "Why do you want to go to Disney all of a sudden?"

He looked down to the floor and stuffed his hands in his pocket. "Why not? I mean... It's Disney. And I may have already gotten the tickets and told Gretta what we're doing and she said it's fine that you miss these today and tomorrow."

I don't know why, but that enraged me. "Harry, why would you do that?! You KNOW that I have to train! I can't just not go!"

"Well, unfortunately, you don't have that choice. I pack everything last night when you were at the store and we're leaving in about fifteen minutes. I suggest that you grab your bag and feed the cat so we can go. Louis and Lauryn said they would drive us to the station." Instead of listening to him, I stayed put with my arms crossed over my chest. "You don't weigh that much, I can easily pick you up and carry you." I still didn't move. "Rue, what's the problem, it's two days and you won't regret either of them. Come on, be happy!"

I shifted a bit and unfolded me arms. Instead of talking to him, I just grabbed my suitcase, which was in the corner and I had no idea how I managed to miss it, and walked out to the living room. I could hear Harry following behind me from the noise of his suitcase rolling down hall.

I set my duffle bag down on the couch and walked into the kitchen to feed Bellea and give her extra water. When I finished that, I walked over to the neighbors and asked if they could keep an eye on her while we were away, which they agreed to.

When I walked out of the neighbors, I saw Harry locking the door and setting my bag on top of his. Rather than walking over to him and waiting for him I just walked down the two flights of stairs and outside to find Louis and Lauryn waiting in their car. I smiled and waved to them and walked over to them and got in the car.

"What's wrong with you?" Lauryn asked from the front seat.

"Are you mad because Harry cancelled your practice?"

Louis turned around in his seat, Lauryn following in his pattern. "You're going to find that tonight will be a lot better than going to a practice, love," Louis said before turning around again when Harry got in the car.

I looked down to my lap, my eyebrows furrowed together in utter confusion. What's so special about tonight?
